Chapter 10

Bryan kissed her forehead as she slept. She stirred and pulled at his arm. "Don't go." She said.

"Sorry, honey. Have to go to the office for a bit."

"Please come back soon."

"I will." He said leaving.

She fell back asleep. A few hours later she heard a noise in the room. "Bryan, is that you? Are you back?" She heard something fall on the floor next to her. "Hello?" As she was going to turn the light on, she felt someone cover her mouth with a handkerchief, she tried struggling but the more she struggled the weaker she got until she passed out. The light came on and there stood David staring at the unconscious Chris.

When Chris started to come through she felt she couldn't move. She heard chains. She opened her eyes. It was dark. Her arms were stretched above her head chained, she tried moving her legs and they were chained too. "So you're up." David said standing in front of her.

"Davy, what are you doing? Let me go." Chris said, struggling with the chains. "Why are you doing this? We've known each other for so long."

"You're confused. I just want to help you realize that it's me you love. Not Black. I can offer you so many things."

"Davy, you're sick. I love Bryan, not you. I am not confused. Now let me go and I won't tell anyone about this. If Bryan or Joey find you, they're going to kill you."

He got a notification on his phone then walked towards her. "Guess this would be a short one. But just know I'll always be around the corner keeping an eye on you. You'll never be rid of me. I made one girl disappear one time because she didn't believe me. I love you too much; I don't want the same to happen to you." He grabbed her face and kissed her hard before leaving through the window.

She looked around trying to recognize where she was at. It looked like a hotel room. Suddenly the door started banging loud, like they were trying to knock it down. Police men filled the room as the door was knocked down. They quickly pulled her down from the chains and took her to the hallway, where Bryan and Joe waited. "Are you okay?" Bryan said, cupping her face.

"Yes, he left before the police got here."

"There's no sign of him." One of the policemen said coming out of the room.

"Did he hurt you somehow?" Joe asked.

"He had me in chains and said that he was going to show me that it's him I love and that he's going to be everywhere watching me."

Bryan and Joe looked at each other. "We need to get you out of here." Joe said.

"He's going to know everywhere I go. He's going to find me. He said he made one girl disappear once because she didn't believe him; he would always be there."

"Obviously he has our place bugged, maybe even our phones. So, we are just going to direct him exactly where we are at." Bryan said as Chris and Joe looked at each other confused.
