"The trip to Hawaii is ready. We'll arrive there tomorrow and your brother and Priscilla will join us in two days. We'll have so much fun." Bryan said kissing Chris stomach making her laugh as they laid in bed.
"I can't wait. And are you sure I'll be safe there?"
"Of course you will. The hotel has the best security, plus I would not leave your side even for a minute."
The next day they packed his car with the entire luggage and headed to the airport. They boarded the plane and headed to their destination. As they arrived and picked up their luggage, Chris looked nervously around. "Why so nervous, my dear?" Bryan asked.
"You think he followed us?"
"Not here. Remember, he's expecting us in Hawaii, not Italy. If he really had the apartment bugged that's where he'll be and the cops would be waiting for him. Let's head to the hotel."
Two hours later they get a call from Joe. "Hello? Yes, what happened? What?!" Bryan looked at Chris. "Are you serious? Have they found him yet? Okay, keep me posted."
"What happened?"
"They searched David's house and found a body buried in his backyard."
"Oh my God. Probably that girl he was talking about."
"Probably. They still haven't seen him in Hawaii."
They enjoyed their stay in Italy visiting all the main spots, and then Joe and Priscilla joined them. At the end of the week they received a call from Sebastean. "Hi, Bast. How is it going?" Bryan said, putting his phone on speaker.
"I'm calling with some bad news. David did make it to Hawaii and they surrounded him in his room and he shot himself."
"No!" Chris said. "Why?"
"Are you positive?" Joe asked.
"Yes. They called his parents and they called me surprised at all they learned about their son."
Chris wept as Priscilla held her. "It's okay, it's all over now."
"Still, he was our friend." Joe said, putting his hand on her shoulder.
