As they sat down to dinner, Alessandra brought Chris down. She sat down fidgeting with her hands looking down. "Chris, how are you feeling?" She quickly looked up at Joe when he spoke. She smiled at him, for a moment they all forgot of her ailment.

"Joey, I'm so glad you could join us for dinner." She said, patting Bryan's hand. "Where's Priscilla?"

"She and I broke up."

"Why? Last week you guys seemed so happy."

"Chris," Bryan said as she looked at him smiling.

"Yes, honey?"

"Nothing, I just love to see you smile."

"Chris! I can't believe it!" Gabriella said entering the dining room running towards Chris.

Chris started feeling overwhelmed when Gabriella hugged her. "Please, no. The pain. Alessandra!"

"I'm sorry." Gabriella said, backing away. "I'm sorry Bryan, I thought she was fine."

"It's ok, we have to tread with caution with her. Sometimes she would be fine and then suddenly this happens." He said pointing towards Alessandra consoling Chris.

"I'm taking her back to her room." Alessandra said, taking Chris upstairs.

"Joe, I don't know what to do."

"Patience, Bryan. I know it's hard. But she's been remembering bits and pieces and it's only the first day. Have hope."

"I just want to hold her and make everything go away."

"I know. Eventually she'll get there."

Bryan got up and walked towards their room. When he opened the door he saw Chris looking out the window. "Chris?" He asked as she slowly turned around. She looked lost, like she wasn't there.

"It must be frustrating." She said walking to the bed and sitting down.

"What is?" He said slowly walking towards her and kneeling next to her.

"Knowing so much about me, and I don't know you at all."

"But you do know our kids."

"Yes, Alexander has grown so much. How old is he?"

"He's three, and he's very smart. About our daughter, what do you call her?"

"My baby. Something inside me told me not to name her yet."

"What if we name her now? Would you like that?"

"Yes, I have a name in mind."

"Tell me."

"Bianca, that name gave me purpose when I was in the asylum. What do you think?"

"I love it. Oh, Chris. I missed you so much." He said reaching for her hand but she pulled away.

"I'm sorry. I don't like being touched."

"It's okay, I understand. Do you remember anything before the asylum?" He asked, standing up and looking out the window.

"Darkness, pain. He killed my soul. I'm afraid I'm never going to be the same, Bryan."

"I'll wait for you an eternity if I have to."

"You must love me very much."

"I do." He said.

She stood up and walked towards him. She put her hand on his shoulder making him turn around. "If you love me that much, why did you let him have me? Why didn't you fight for me, Bryan?" And with that she collapsed on his arms. He slowly put her in bed and covered her before walking out the room.
