Chapter 4

Bryan went to open the door as Sebastien and David walked inside. "First time you guys are actually on time." Bryan mumbled under his breath.

"Did we interrupt something?" Sebastien asked as David and Chris went ahead to the bar and Bryan's eyes followed her.

"What? No, we were just... just waiting for you guys."

"Right, well, let's go before David finishes all the booze."

"You go ahead. I need to finish some work. Keep an eye on her." An hour later, Bryan climbed the stairs. Sebastien was laying on the couch scrolling through his phone, Chris and David were playing pool. She was leaning against the table laughing. His eyes went straight to her ass. Her skirt had risen up and he could see the bottom of her ass showing. He cleared his throat and she quickly straightened up. He went to pour himself a drink and then sat next to Sebastien. "How much has she drunk?" He asked without taking his eyes off her.

"I served her only two, but I know David has been serving her more."

"Didn't I tell you to keep an eye on her?"

"Bryan, you need to chill. We are at your apartment, between friends. What do you think is going to happen to her?"

She started stumbling towards David and his hands were all over her. "Chris! Come here." Bryan yelled.

She walked towards him laughing and sat next to him. "You are grumpy." She said, poking his nose.

"And you are drunk." He said, pushing her hand away.

"I'm just having fun with my guys that I haven't seen in forever." She stood up and started spinning around. She stumbled and fell on his lap. "Opps."

"Chris, sweetie let's go play some more." David said, pulling her off Bryan's lap.

He watched as David took her back to the pool table. "So, you're still in love with her?" Sebastien asked.

"What are you talking about?"

"Come on, Black. We've always known. I'm starting to think you didn't know."

"All of you, even Joe?"

"Of course, Black. And I think she still loves you too. I see the looks you two throw at each other."

Bryan kept staring at Chris, especially at David, the way he kept looking at her and touching her. He didn't like it. She bent over to play and he stood behind her and grabbed her waist. That was it. His blood was boiling. He quickly got up and pulled David off her. He stumbled backwards laughing. "Bast! I think it is time you take David home."

"Yeah, David, let's go." Sebastean said, grabbing David.

Bryan walked with them down towards the door. "You guys have a good night." He closed the door and activated the alarm; then climbed the stairs to check on Chris. She passed out on the couch. He picked her up and took her to her room. He laid her down in the bed and took her shoes off. She quickly got up and ran to the bathroom. He ran after her and pulled her hair back while she threw up.

"No, Bryan. Don't look at me." She said, pushing him away.

He turned the water on the tub. "I'll run you a bath. Then I'll go make you some tea and get some aspirin."

"Thank you." She got up, undressed and got in the tub as soon as he walked out the room. When she was done, she put a robe on and walked into the room. There she saw Bryan sitting in her bed with his head in his hands.

"Feeling better?" He asked, getting up from the bed.

"Yes, thank you." She walked over to where there was a cup of tea with two aspirins.

"Well, I'll see you in the morning." He said walking towards the door.

"Bryan, wait. Can you stay with me tonight? Just hold me?" She asked, getting in the bed.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Chris." He said getting closer to the bed.

"Please, I just want to lay next to you." She said as he took his shirt and pants off and laid next to her.

She slowly laid her head on his naked chest. He pulled his arm around her waist pulling her closer. In less than a minute she was asleep. He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes.

David was singing out loud in the car as Sebastean drove him home. "Bast! I'm in love!"

"Who's the lucky girl?"

"Chris, and she loves me too. My brother told me that the main reason she was coming here was to tell the love of her life that she loved him. Obviously, it's not you and Black is incapable of loving anyone. So, that leaves me."

"David, she's not in love with you."

"She is and she'll be mine if it's the last thing I do." He said falling asleep.
