For some reason, teachers seemed to like their students suffering during the Easter holidays. They had a lot of homework with exams coming up and everyone was just cramming as much information as they could into their brains. Hermione was cracking under the pressure, being the last to leave the common room and the first in the library. Juniper, of course, wouldn't go to bed until Hermione did, feeling stressed from seeing Hermione stressed.

As for waking up early in the morning...well, Juniper couldn't make herself do it. She wasn't a morning person to begin with, why would she get herself up in the morning just to go to library and study when she could get a few more hours of sleep? Hermione appreciated the effort though. Not only were they worried about the whole exams thing, Juniper and Ron were busy working on Buckbeak's appeal, Hermione under too much pressure to help of course and Ron feeling bad he hadn't helped at all with the last thing.

Juniper had to juggle quidditch practices everyday, the appeal, studying for exams and practicing the Patronus spell with Lupin every Thursday. Harry rarely came anymore but Juniper felt like she could get the spell right if she just kept practicing. She wanted to make Remus proud. If she couldn't make her parents proud, why not try an actual supportive Godfather? And by the smile on his face every time she showed up, no matter how tired she looked, she knew it was working.

Juniper was constantly being hounded by Oliver, who wouldn't stop spouting about the quidditch cup. Both Harry and Juniper were annoyed. Harry especially considering the snitch was worth one hundred and fifty points. Oliver kept reminding him that he was only to catch it when the team was above fifty points since Slytherin was leading by two hundred. If they win this last match, they win the cup. Oliver would come up to Juniper every time he saw her, checking if she was doing okay, if her arm was good to go before the game, wondering how her broom was, any quidditch question you could think of.

Luckily, thanks to Olivia, she had a place to go to get away from it all. Every chance she'd get, she'd head up into the Room of Requirements to just take a breather. Sometimes Olivia or Luna would be there and they'd have a little conversation before they did their own things, other times it'd be just Juniper where she could relax, study a little and calm down before she'd have to go out into the chaos again.

She wanted to win the cup, she knew that. But, she also wanted to beat Draco. The one who's been a complete ass to her since they arrived this year. Defeating Draco for the quidditch cup will definitely make her feel better about everything. How he made fun of her incident with the Dementors, going as far as dressing up like one during one of her games just to get her to mess up, even if it was for Harry's sake. Not to mention, the Buckbeak thing. If he had just sucked it up and accepted the fact that he was the one to anger Buckbeak in the first place, none of this would've happened.

She was ready to face him and he better be prepared because she wasn't going easy on him. In fact, the tension before the game between Slytherin and Gryffindor was high, even causing a few fights in the corridors. The Slytherin's were on a mission, especially with Harry, to send the Gryffindor quidditch members out of commission before the game on the first Saturday after the holiday.

No member of the team was allowed to wander around the castle alone the whole week before the game. The Gryffindor house helped with that, multiple people crowding around any of the team members so the Slytherin's wouldn't have a chance of injuring any of the players. Which meant, Juniper couldn't make it to her safe place or else she'd basically let out the secret room Olivia wanted her to keep a secret for that reason. It was frustrating. Hermione had to stop her multiple times from just marching over to the Slytherin table and knocking some sense into the whole team, especially Draco and his goons. Not that her house wouldn't back her up.
