Juniper's summer didn't go as planned this year round. She expected it to be a nice relaxing summer where she could just hang with her best friend and discuss the upcoming event, the Quidditch World Cup. Unfortunately for her and her brother, the Myrtle's had different plans which involved whisking Summer away on a family vacation to America, leaving her behind to be even more miserable, not having anyone to help comfort her from having to deal with her abusive parents.

How ironic, right? Summer taken away for the summer. Who would've guessed? Juniper's summer, however, did consist of, playing Quidditch with Draco, helping Lucas plan dates for him and Summer when she got back ("You know her more than anyone!"), discussing who they thought was gonna win the cup between the Irish and the Bulgarians, and of course, following her parents every command like working out, having all of her summer homework finished within 2 weeks and making sure the Manor was spotless even if they did have a house elf.

Now though, summer was starting to come to an end, Summer coming back from her vacation the day before the start of school which meant, having to miss the Quidditch World Cup. As for the others, it'd be Juniper, Draco and Lucas as well as Draco's parents and their father, seeming as Ginger Rosewood was never a Quidditch fan and she apparently had other plans with a bunch of her other friends who weren't attending as well, not that Juniper cared anyways.

They came a week earlier than the game itself, staying in a tent surrounded by a bunch of other rich purebloods, the three best friends each having their own room, same with the three adults. During the stretch between waiting for the game, the three journeyed around the different campsites, seeing who had come and managed to get tickets to watch. They saw people like the Lovegood's, where Olivia was excited to see both Juniper and Lucas, even handing Juniper a book she forgot to send a little while back when she recommended it to Juniper, while Luna droned on about all the things she knew about the mascots for each team.

They also ran into a couple Gryffindors like Dean and Seamus who were surrounded by Irish, the place covered in green, both of them greeting Juniper while Draco glared them down. Then they ran into Crabbe and Goyle, who were stuffing their faces with food provided by the different stands and vendors, Draco bragging to them all about how the tent they were staying in was way better and more luxurious than the rest of them and then bragging about the tickets their parents managed to get, all of them in the box with the Minister himself.

And, unfortunately for Juniper, they also ran into Pansy and her little gang, Daphne Greengrass and Millicent Bulstrode, all of them swooning over Draco and Lucas while Juniper pouted behind the two of them, annoyed she had to actually listen to a word the three said while simultaneously using Draco and Lucas for her protection considering Pansy was still looking for any chance she could at hurting Juniper in some way or another, and considering the way Millicent would growl in her direction every time they made eye-contact, the same could be said for her.

A couple evenings before the big day, the three best friends hangout outside in swanky lawn chairs, all of them leaning back and sporting pairs of muggle sunglasses in front of the tent while the three parents had a chat inside about who knows what. "I wish Summer was here" Lucas sighs out as they all stare up into the sky, slowly growing dark as the time passed. "Same" Juniper agrees.

"She'll be back before school starts" Draco reminds the pair, rolling his eyes at them. They had been complaining about her disappearance all summer, not used to being separated for so long. Though, he missed her as well, not that he'd actually admit it to them, either. Summer was always the rock of the group, it seemed. She was the one always comforting the group and stopping the arguments that occurred between the other three. Now that she wasn't here though, the arguments had grown more frequent between the three and for longer periods.
