Classes have ended and it was time for the boys and raccoon cat to pick some nuts. 

They headed to the woods behind the school campus, looking at the number of chestnuts there were.

"There's so many chestnuts all over the place! It's a forest of all you can eat mont blanc! Let's get picking!" Grim excitedly reached for a chestnut only to be pricked by them. 

"Oww ow! The thorns pricked my paw!" Grim yelled, rubbing his paw against his face to soothe it.

"I wish Mayumi were here." Grim whined to himself. She would have conformed him and healed his little paw.

"We can't pick them up with bare hands. It'll also be good to get a basket or something to put them all in." Deuce advised.

"The botanical garden probably has whatever we need inside." Ace gestured to the plant nursery.

"Let's go take a look" They went inside, to see colorful plants all over the place, basking with sunlight.

"Wow, it's bigger in here than I thought." Ace said, surprised by how spacey it was.

"There should be a caretaker of this place. We should split up and find them." Deuce suggested.

"I'll go right"

"And I'll head left. Grim, you'll come with me. We'll check the back after." Deuce ordered the frowning raccoon cat.

"I'll go to the back on my own! I don't need a babysitter!" Grim yelled. 

Ace smirked, remembering what happened a few minutes ago. "Weren't you crying about Yumi a while ago because your little paw was pricked?" he taunted.

"Fgghh! No I wasn't!"

"Yumi told me to watch you and I don't plan on disobeying her." Deuce sternly said. "So you're coming with me." 

Grim smirked, having a master plan to ditch them.

"If you can catch me first!" He grinned and ran to the back. 

"Oi! Get back here!" Deuce yelled ready to go after him but Ace stopped him. 

"Just let him go"

"But Yumi said-!"

"Knowing her, she'll get mad at Grim rather than you." Ace assured the bluenette. "Just don't think too much about it. Let's just go look for the caretaker and get this over with. Worry about Grim later."

Deuce looked conflicted, glancing at the direction Grim ran off to and to the path he was supposed to go. 

Ace sighed, annoyed by the bluenette's worrying. "The faster we do this, the quicker we'll get the furball. So hurry up."

"Yeah, okay."

'I hope Yumi doesn't get mad at me.'

Grim laughed, finding Deuce's face hilarious as he ditched him. "I don't need anybody looking after me. I'm going to be a great magician after all!" Grim exclaimed. He slowed down his running and looked at the plants around him.

"Aah! There's a bunch of fruit! They smell so good!" Grim excitedly said to himself, mesmerized by the amount of food he could eat. He reached to get a fruit but unfortunately, he stepped on something.
