Dinner went by quicker than expected since the food was very simple and nutritional. Yet it was not enough for them.

The boys walked by the stairs in the hallways of Ramshackle, all a bit dissatisfied with the portion of food Vil gave them.

"I know we just ate dinner, but that wasn't enough." Ace sighed in self-anguish.

Kalim nodded as he wore a small pout. "I get how you feel. It wasn't bad or anything, but it was missing a punch of spice and the richness of oil." He didn't enjoy how plain the food tasted since he was used to eating flavorful, rich food.

"The recipe was all vegetables, fruits, and chicken breast. The amount should've been enough." Jamil said, satisfied with the food. He wasn't much of a complainer other than it being related to Kalim.

"He said that these meals weren't about losing weight, but to keep our calories in check." Deuce brought up, referring to what Vil explained.

"You guys just ate the necessary proteins of the day. If we added anymore, it would just be stored as fat in your body. And if I allow that, I'll get in trouble by Vil." Mayumi explained.

"What proteins?! All I ate were veggies! It feels like I didn't eat at all." Grim moped as he placed his paws on his tummy, imagining all the food he could eat. "We aren't even in this competition! I wanna eat meat and fried food!" He demanded.

'I wish I could eat...( ╥ω╥ )'

Suddenly, the doorbell buzzed, interrupting the group's conversation.

"Hm? Who would come at this hour?" Grim mumbled in confusion.

Mayumi walked to the foyer with the others closely following behind her. When the ravenette opened the door, she and the boys all saw a delivery ghost, not looking bothered at all that they were working a night shift.

"I have a package here for Epel Felmier from Pomefiore."

Hearing his name, the said boy walked forward as he stood beside the ravenette. "Yes, I'm Epel."

The ghost took out a clipboard, passing it to the male along with a pen. "Please sign here. I have a total of ten large boxes. Can I leave them in the entryway?"

"Eh? Ten?!" Epel exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes. The sender is also named Felmier. Are these from home?" The ghost curiously asked as they glanced at the packages. "They are pretty heavy so please be careful when carrying them."

'Then how'd this ghost carry them?'

'Magic! (♡▽♡)

"And in a blink of an eye, the entry is completely blocked by boxes." Deuce nonchalantly narrated, staring at the huge pile of deliveries.

Epel's eyes widened, overwhelmed by the number of boxes. "Whooa! These are definitely from my nana–grandmother. Geez, I tell her all the time over the phone not to send anything!" He sighed in frustration, a small pout tugging his lips.

"Aww, she thinks about you. That's cute.." Mayumi smiled, a little sadness hidden behind it. She'd burn down a whole school to get a delivery from her sisters.

"What's all this? Did your family send you some silk textiles or something?" Kalim asked, accustomed to receiving such luxury through the mail.

Epel shook his head, internally sweatdropping from his question. "No, it's nothing special...I think. Um, my hometown is known for its apples. This is all probably apple juice."

Ace gaped as he stared at the mountain of boxes blocking the doorway. "All of it?! There's enough here to open your own juice bar."

That's when Epel noticed something in one of the boxes. "Oh, there's a letter in one of the boxes. I wonder what it says." He grabbed it, and read it to himself. "'These didn't sell and are getting close to expiring. Make sure to share them with your friends at school.' Geez! Don't just dump all the leftovers on me...but to think all this didn't sell." He put down the letter, looking concerned but the others didn't realize that.
