BURGUNDY: Episode 4.6

And the Oscar for Best Actor goes to....Jamil Viper!

Mayumi finally opened her eyes.

Quickly, she sat up from the bed she was laid upon and suddenly she felt something fall on her lap. Looking at it, the girl saw a cold towel, something she didn't put on.

Remembering what happened at the oasis, Mayumi clenched her hand in anger. Fuchsia eyes roamed around the now dark room and noticed the medical potions lying on the desk beside her. Now she was even more pissed.

Jamil treated her.

The ravenette knew he took care of her since she faintly heard his voice when she was asleep, which annoyed her. Why did he even bother aiding her?

It was most likely only for his own benefit.

The girl glared forward, her knuckles whitening due to how tight her hands were clenched. "Jamil...I'm going to cut off that braid you're so fond of..."

Taking a deep breath, Mayumi eased herself, making sure her feelings didn't get the best of her. Because the last time she let it happen, it did not go so well for her. Jamil put her to sleep and she got weaker. She did not want that happening again.

Unfortunately, taming her emotions was quite hard to do because she realized her companion wasn't with her anymore.

"Grim!" Afraid of losing him to Jamil, Mayumi quickly got out of bed only to stumble over her feet as she tried to make her way to the door. Her legs still felt weak.

Gritting her teeth, the girl forced herself to walk, not caring for her sudden weakness at the moment. Protecting Grim was the only thing in her mind right now since she failed to help Douma.

She really messed up.

A lot.

"I'm sorry, Douma." 

Wiping her eyes from the incoming tears, Mayumi slowly and cautiously walked down the hallway, trying to make her way to the lounge where Grim, Jamil, and some other residents were.

As she leaned on the walls to support herself from falling, she could hear their voices, particularly the Scarabia residents insulting Kalim for being a horrible dorm leader.

Trying to get closer to the group, Mayumi tripped and fell, hitting her face on the concrete floor.

Big oof.

"What are you doing lazing around on the floor? Get up this instant!"

Looking up, Mayumi saw Kalim standing before her, still wearing those hypnotized eyes. He was glaring down at the ravenette as he did with all the other students. 

As Kalim was about to insult her again, he started blinking. His face suddenly formed into a perplexed one. Staring at the girl, he tilted his head.

"Huh?...Yumi?"

Suddenly realizing the ravenette's state, Kalim yelped in shock, noticing the small amount of blood oozing down her nose. "Ah! You're bleeding!" He freaked out, hurriedly kneeling in front of the girl and grabbing her hand and arm in panic.

"Come on, I'll take you back to your room." He worriedly spoke, using his shirt to wipe the blood off her since he had plenty of extras.

"I'm sorry. I fell by accident." Mayumi mumbled, letting Kalim help her get up from the floor.

"Don't apologize, Yumi! I feel bad now. If only I was here in time." Kalim frowned, tears gathering up in his eyes. He gasped, feeling how hot the girl's body currently was as he held her. "This is horrible! When did you get sick, Yumi? You could have told me."
