After walking for quite a while from the library, Mayumi and Crowley finally arrived at Ramshackle Dorm.

"This place is-"

"It's too tasteful, yes?"

Mayumi grimaced, "I wouldn't necessarily phrase it like that..."

'It looks like it's haunted!' Douma cried.

"It's not bad. It looks really antique. It gives nice gothic vibes." Mayumi slightly smiled.

"It does, does it not?" he happily agreed, even if he didn't understand what she meant. "Well then, come inside."

When they entered the dorm, Mayumi frowned and Douma's crying got louder.

The inside was a complete mess. Tables and chairs were scattered around, paintings on the floor, wallpapers ripped, weak floorboards, mold on the walls, and dust and cobwebs everywhere.

"Ara ara. I'm a little worried I will die from a falling roof." Mayumi worriedly said when she noticed the creaking roof.

"Staying here will at least shield you from the rain and wind." Crowley retorted.

Mayumi gave a troubled expression, not sure how to take his response since she sees water drip from the roof. "I-I guess so."

"I'm going to continue investigating some things, so pass time as you like. Don't loiter around the academy!"

Before Crowley left, Mayumi stopped him, "Headmaster, before you go, I would like to apologize." Crowley turned around, bewildered.

"For what exactly?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.

"For my behavior. I took my teasing a little too far back at the chambers due to my stress of being in a new environment. Also, because you kept ignoring me." Mayumi grumbled at the last part. "Besides that, it was rude of me to embarrass you in front of your student, so I'm sorry." Mayumi bowed down.

Crowley hummed and placed his hands on his hips. "I will admit, you were being very disrespectful and really pushed my buttons, but I forgive you. And I would also like to apologize."

Mayumi gave him a baffled expression, "Huh? Why?"

"I didn't realize how confused and anxious you felt with this new world and I made it worse when my emotions were not in check. I released them onto you with the stress of a missing student and the troubling raccoon. That was not very gracious of me so please, forgive me." Crowley bowed.

Mayumi quickly shook her hands and made Crowley raise his head, "No no! It's alright!" she quickly said. It was embarrassing for her when someone bowed to her, even if it was being respectful.

The ravenette sighed and gave the headmaster a small smile. "I guess that makes us even, Headmaster."

"I suppose it does, Miss Kocho." Mayumi released a sigh of relief, glad her apology didn't flop. If it did, it would have been really awkward.

She quickly checked the view outside the window and gasped. "Ah. It's quite late, Headmaster. Sorry to keep you waiting from your duties. I'll let you go. Again, thank you for your help. I really appreciate it." Mayumi bowed once again and sent a smile of gratitude towards him.

"It is certainly no problem for I am gracious!" Crowley exclaimed with pride.

'Wow. He ruined it.'

"I will get going then. Do take care." Mayumi nodded and waved him bye.

Once he left, Mayumi sighed and turned to the messy dorm. "Now, time to clean".
