Everyone's eyes widened at the appearance of the boy, the demon, right in front of them.

He grinned, intently staring at the ravenette like she was a spec of dirt.

As everyone's eyes looked at him with fear, the demon, Kaigaku, seemed to grow arrogantly. It inflated his ego as he felt so much strength knowing he can overpower such powerless humans.

Malice overtook Kaigaku's body while he stared at the ravenette, remembering the past on how all those above him underestimated him for trying to survive in a cruel world full of rotting humans.

He'll show everyone just how pathetic they are.

Kaigaku moved at lightning speed, each time trying to strike the girl who defended herself with her sword.

"Wha–?!"

Noticing the boys' distraction, Vil's eyes darkened as he threw a dozen poisonous apples at the group. "Pay attention to me!"

"Look out!"

Rook and Jamil acted out quickly, destroying the apples while the first years and Kalim got rid of the extra ones.

Vil wasn't merciful to their concerns as he continued to throw apple after apple while increasing the amount of poisonous mist around them.

He really wanted to end them.

"Urk...! He's too strong! This is some crazy power!" Epel winced, bring grazed by the poison.

"Epel, don't give up. We need to bring back our beautiful Roi du Poison!" Rook encouraged, but his brows furrowed, worry consuming his thoughts as he faced the problem before them.

Rook quickly glanced over at the ravenette who was dealing with a strange, rude male who came out of nowhere. He was confused by his appearance and he thought the others would be too, but it seemed everyone but Epel was expecting the stranger. Like they were used to it.

Just what was going on?

Vil expanded his arm, ordering the blot monster behind him to pull out more rotten apples. "Silence! You will disintegrate before my eyes!" He angrily yelled at the group of boys.

"Just follow through with my plan!" Mayumi yelled out to them, still deflecting the demon's attack.

The boys didn't need to be told twice as they put the plan into action. The Scarabia duo instantly threw themselves in the front, bringing Vil's attention to them while the first years supported their backs. Because of this, Rook was able to sneak behind Vil and slowly weakened him with fire magic, thus stopping the poisonous mist from attacking the rest.

If their teamwork continued, they could overpower Vil and save him in no time.

Kaigaku clicked his tongue, looking down at the girl's desire to protect the males. "They'll eventually die. Humans are so pathetic."

Mayumi narrowed her eyes at him, her sword reflecting her bright, burning eyes. "You would know, wouldn't you? Since you were one."

Upset and furious, the demon's glare hardened. "Thunder Breathing, 2nd Form: Rice Spirit!"

In quick movements, five slashes were aimed at the ravenette while black lightning struck with it. It was so fast that no one could see the sword move at all.
