there's no way i was going to be able to wake him up. he always dead when he falls asleep. she came back out, and laughed. "does he do this a lot?" she asked. "yes all the time. i can to sleep in his room and you can sleep in here. i don't even wanna try and wake him up, he's dead weight." i said giggling. "no not at all! i'll go sleep in there. i'm not gonna kick you out of your room, you're sad and i know that's the one thing i like when i'm sad is to be in my own bed so i can cry. if you need to talk i'm right here. you can even facetime me if you want." she said smiling. "thank you ella." i said. "of course. goodnight!" she said. "goodnight." she walked into vinnie's room. i cut my bedroom light off changing into some nike sleep shorts and a baggy t shirt throwing my hair in a messy bun, taking off my makeup and brushing my teeth. i crawled back into bed plugging my
phone into the charger and pulling the comforter from under vinnie since he was on top of everything.

he started moving. "i'm sorry." i whispered. "it's okay, i was trying to trick you into thinking i was asleep and then i actually fell asleep. i want to talk though." he said. "about what?" i said, staring into the darkness and letting my thoughts take over. "you know what about. what did he say?" he asked. "you know what he said vinnie. everything he always does, that i'm pathetic and selfish. and that i should get off your dick because it doesn't look good on me." he said. my lips quivering and my voice cracking. "off my dick? what the fuck is that supposed to mean?" he asked. "that we're together all the time and that it looks like we're together.." i said. he sighed. "what's wrong?" i asked. "i hate him rhiannon. i wish i could beat his ass. i want him to leave you alone. you need to file a restraining order." he said. "i know. i want to get out of this town so fucking bad." i said. "i know." he said. he scooted closer to me, getting under the covers this time, but taking off his pants he had on. this wasn't awkward because me and him have slept together so many times, not like in a sexual way but just ya know, sleeping.

i started to cry harder, making it harder for me to keep it a secret. my body started to shake, and i let out a sob. "hey come here. you can cry, let it out. don't be sad. be sucks and you don't deserve that. you should be loving someone, not letting him treat
you like shit. you deserve so much more. you deserve the world rhiannon and one day someone will give you that." he said wrapping his arms around me as i cried on his chest once again.

he kissed my forehead, and i looked at him. he was looking at me too. my tears glistening on my cheeks and he wiped them off with his thumb before giving me another kiss on the forehead and slowly moving down. he put out foreheads together and kissed my lips this time. i was shocked. i didn't expect this honestly. i kissed back and then we pulled away, and looked at each other. "so we both feel the same way?" he asked. "i think deep down we both have for a while." i said, my voice cracking again and then we laughed. he kissed me again. "i love you." i said. "i love you too. try and go to sleep. if you need me i'm right here." i said. he kept one arm
wrapped around me and the other was holding my hand. this was weird honestly, not weird but different.

we woke up, and it was still raining. it was light out and me and him were still holding hands. my eyes were swollen shut, and it hurt to open them honestly. i stretched a little trying not to wake him. i reached for my phone and clicked the screen i had a message from ella.

hey girl, i hope you feel better today. my friend came and picked me up this morning. i came in to tell y'all, but y'all looked so comfy so i didn't wanna wake y'all. thank y'all for letting me stay. don't be afraid to text me to hang out, i'll do the same! 🤍

hey, thank you so much. it means so much. thanks for being there last night i'm sorry you had to hear all of that. i'll definitely text you. we need to have another sleepover soon where i'm not sad😂

vinnie squeezed my hand signaling he was awake now. i rolled over and looked at him. "goodmorning." i said. he kissed me. "goodmorning." he said. "do you want breakfast?" i asked. "yeah but i'm sooo tired." he said stretching and letting out a groan. "do you wanna go back to sleep? ella left already." i said. "yes i do. at least for another hour." he said pulling me close to him again. "okay hold on let me go get something to drink my throat is SOOO dry, it's closing up." i said. he laughed. i got out of bed and made me and him some water. letting out a whisper scream and a small jump at the fact that vinnie liked me. i don't know why i was so shocked by this news. i grabbed the cups and walked back to my room, placing his on the nightstand. "thank you." he said. "you're welcome." i  said shivering at how cold it was in the house. "it's freezing in here." i said. "come back. it's warm under here." he said. i did as he said after taking a few sips of water,  we cuddled back up. "can we stay like this forever?" he asked. "please." i said. "good it's official then." he said. "what is?" i asked. "we're getting married. if we wanna stay like this forever then that means we have to get married i think." he said. "i think you have to date before you do that. i think. i'm not really sure how marriage works though." i said. "then let's date first." he said. i looked at him. "oh my god vinnie hacker just asked me to be his girlfriend..guys....." i said laughing. "no seriously. be my girlfriend, i'm not kidding." he said. "deal. as long as we stay like this forever and maybe get married one day." i said still being sarcastic. "ugh you can't be serious ever. at least we're one step closer to marriage now." he said. kissing my forehead and playing with my hair. "ok go back to sleep. goodnight." i said. "ok fine goodnight." he said.
