Tonight me and Vinnie were going out, for the first real party sway has thrown since all of our past events. I personally was excited for this, because I needed to get out and do something in order to get my mind off of things. It's been two months since we got home from Hawaii, and I for one, was doing better.

I felt more like myself, and I felt myself getting back to normal and not dwelling on what's happened to me. The fear wasn't overwhelming anymore. I could go outside and check the mail without feeling like I was being hunted, and I could go into town and go shopping and not be checking over my shoulders every few seconds.

Of course, I was still looking out for myself, but I wasn't fixated on it, which was something I was enjoying.

Vinnie hasn't moved in yet, we haven't found a new hype house that could fit everybody in it, so we are staying put until then.

What kind of outfit do you wear to a party that doesn't say "I haven't been out in 2 months"? No idea.

"Hey babe, What are you wearing tonight?" Vinnie asked from my bed where he was playing video games.  "You read my mind. I have no idea." I said. "Hm, like casual or something nicer?" He asked. "Probably nicer, I want to dress up. "I said. "Can you just pick me out something when you pick yours out?" He asked. "I mean I guess so." I said, smiling to myself. "Please" he pleaded, not shifting his eyes away from the game.

"I'm kidding, yes i'll pick something horrible out for you." I said. "Good, I figured you would." he said, chuckling.

After walking into the closet and being surrounded by clothes, both mine and Vinnie's I settled on a bandana top and high waisted jeans with my Air Force one's. I pulled everything out and laid it on the bed next to Vinnie. He turned around and looked at it when he realized the bed had weight added to it.

"Do you like this?"  I asked. "Of course, you look good in anything." He said, pulling the edge of the shirt closer to him so he could see it. "thank you." I said, poking my lip out at him and leaning forward to give him a kiss.

"Okay my turn." He said. "Do you want jeans or what?" I asked. "Yea jeans are fine." he said, watching me walk into the closet. "What about this shirt?" I asked, showing him a band t-shirt. "Yes. that's fine. Do you think it'll look okay?" He asked. "Yes, you look good in everything to ya know." I said. He laughed, "Yeah right." He scoffed. "I'm serious. Now put this on." I said, handing him jeans and the shirt I picked out. "what shoes?" he asked. "Black Vans?" I asked. "Sounds perfect." He said.

I threw them to him, them landing upright. "Woah. did you see that?" He asked. "What that they landed right side up?" I asked. "yes, watch." he said, tossing the shoes onto the floor again. "I've seen that on tiktok. you're late to the party." I said, changing into the outfit I picked out for myself.

"Well okay then, girl. Sorry, I just thought it was cool." he said. "Crocs do it too" I said, "Watch" I added. I ran to the closet and threw my pair of crocs onto the ground and watched them land the same way the vans did. He mouth fell open, "that's the coolest thing I've seen in a while." he said.

I finished changing, and walked into the bathroom while Vinnie stood outside trying to flip every pair of shoes we owned.

I looked at myself in the mirror and liked the outfit that I put on. I brushed through the loose curls that I had left in my hair, from a photoshoot yesterday, and sprayed some dry shampoo in it. I did some light makeup because I knew the house was going to be dark and full of people who wouldn't be looking at my makeup.

"I'm about ready to go? are you?" I asked Vinnie. "Yep, whenever, Who's driving?" he asked. "I can if you want." I said. "Sounds good! Where are your keys?" he asked. "uh, good question I don't know."  I said. I cut the bathroom light off and walked into the bedroom to grab my phone and purse.
