Calum's POV:

Well Meredith was better than I thought she'd be. It's now time to see why the fuck Chuck wanted to mess with us after these years. He did it so well, it's so concerning. He's a very good actor, and liar. Luke and I were about to make our way to the mental institution of Sydney which was a little further away, it was only around 2pm so we still had plenty of time. We didn't spend as much time with Meredith as I thought we would. Which is a good thing. Luke and I decided to grab some lunch before seeing Chuck, since we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Luke ordered 3 coffees, which isn't good in the space of half an hour. He drank them so quickly!

Once we paid for our lunch and started walking back the car, Luke was still talking about coffee. This shit is getting to the point where it's concerning. "We should probably cut down on caffeine. I had 21 the other day at work." He shrugged as though it was normal. Jesus Christ Luke! No wonder he's struggling to sleep lately. "What?! Really?! Luke that's not good" I sighed. "Sorry sorry! I was stressed!"! He replied. I decided not to respond to him, I hated ignoring Luke but when he brags about his caffeine addiction it seriously annoys me. "Am I annoying you or something? You keep looking at me funny and not replying.." he was like 😶. "Not at all." I didn't want to argue with him, so we just got back into the car. "So you ready?" I asked as I peered at the rearview mirror. We weren't too far from the hospital, in fact the cafe was only round the corner. "I mean no... are you?" Luke replied. "No... but we should go.." I peered at a water bottle in the pocket of my side of the car.

Okay, I sure feel like a dick for confessing this...but that bottle is filled with bleach. Clementine bleach. I must admit, it's amazing and works on anything. Gets rid of any stain. That new formula sure pays off! I wanted to stock up before they changed it back. But I couldn't help but think... should I give it to Chuck? So he has something he likes there? I don't know what I was thinking but I was sure thinking of something. "Shall we bring that?" I pointed at the bottle. Luke looked at me like 😶. "Why do you have a water bottle filled with bleach in your car?" "Um I packed it... when you went to the bathroom... thought it would make him feel better. It's Clementine scented." I confessed and grinned at him. "Feel better?! He's the one that-" Luke sighed and paused. "Never mind. Forget it. Bring it if you want to." He added. I was now the one with the 😶 face. "No. Go on. Say it." I didn't take my eyes off him. He lit a cigarette and starting smoking it outside of the window. "He's the one who tried to pour bleach in your eyes and you want to give him bleach as a present? I... I just don't understand why you'd do that.."  Luke shrugged. I personally think that if I give Chuck the bleach, it'll be hilarious. After all he's been a dick to us, if we give him water that's actually bleach that he can't drink it'll be to funny. Maybe Luke was worried that Chuck would commit suicide with the bleach I give him, but I know he won't do that. Not him, he won't give up on life regardless of anything. It's just not who he is. I started driving as I spoke "Luke it's not a present, it's a joke. I was gonna give him the bleach because it's funny, okay? Payback." I scoffed. ".....okay." Luke said after a pause. "He loves that Clementine bleach. He can keep it as a souvenir as he spends his life in a nut house. He's a nut." I kept going on. "Alright Calum I get it! He loved his bloody bleach." Luke snapped. I didn't like the way Luke was talking to me, so I threw a couple of facts in his face.

"So do you. You're always using it to clean the toilets. And the Apple one too. So you can't talk really." I looked at him like 😶 and rolled down the window. "If you're gonna smoke, please do it out of the window." I asked him politely, Luke did as I asked him and rolled down the window on his side too. "Because you refuse to buy any other brand of bleach, that's why." He started to give me attitude. The fuck is his problem? He's seriously going to start and argument with me over BLEACH?! Before we go to see CHUCK?! "It's good. It's the best, you know it's the best. As do I, I worked there, remember?" I continued to state my facts. "Well obviously I remember." "You really should lose the attitude before we go and see Chuck." I warned him. If we were in bad moods the orderlies might not let us in to see him. "I don't have an attitude. Even if I did, Chuck deserves to be spoken to with an attitude... so.." he shrugged. I was staring to get really annoyed. "Luke! Come on, I know he's getting what he deserves but he might be in there for life!" "I don't care Calum! I don't have any fucking sympathy for that cunt!" Luke continued. "For fucks sake!" I had finally lost it, and I was struggling to concentrate on the road so I tried to find the nearest junction so I could pull over. I needed to calm down, and talk things through with Luke before one of us got too angry. Especially with the fact that we about to go and visit Chuck. "Calm the fuck down Lucas! You're acting like a fucking kid!" I couldn't help but flip out. I admit it was very harsh, and I regret what I said, especially after seeing Luke's face. He literally looked at me like 😶. "...Well that's just lovely of you." He said as he got out of the car. Fuck, what have I done? I've really upset him haven't I? God why do I have to fuck everything up? This is a main road, it's dangerous. I'm not having him walk away from me like that.
