Luke's POV:The class I was introduced to after lunch was much nicer. The other lot were complete weirdos, I just hope they get better as time goes on. I felt so fucking awkward after what happened earlier with Calum, Dave was the one who dropped me home today and I strolled into the apartment to see Calum sat on the sofa whilst staring out of the window. I looked at him but didn't say anything, so I started making coffee instead for us both. I panicked okay? "I'm fine thanks..I don't think I can drink coffee right now, but if you want some go ahead." Calum didn't look at me. The awkwardness is killing me. "Fine then." I mumbled and starting drinking my own coffee. "So are we gonna talk about earlier or?" I asked. He turned around and finally looked at me. "Did you want to?" "I don't want to, I'd rather forget about it to be honest but I feel like it needs to be discussed. This atmosphere is killing me..." I confessed as I sat next to him. "I know I'm selfish for wanting you all to myself, but you have to understand...me going into your workplace to clean up piss is not exactly my idea of fun. It wasn't your fault...its just...have a bad feeling about this..." he admitted. I let out a gentle sigh "I know, I know what it looks like....I wasn't...aware of that until class was over. I was just teaching normally, I don't understand. You have a bad feeling about what?" It crossed my mind. "The students seem a little risqué...especially that girl who winked at you in the corridor." He referred to Arzaylea. "I know Cal, I would've spoken to Dave about her....but she's completely different around him. Like his angel, so I doubt he would believe me.. I'm sure it's just harmless right? Just students being students." I took a large gulp of my coffee. But then after a while it hit me as to why Calum was so protective about this. It had me thinking of something I hadn't thought about it years. A teacher once had an affair with Calum, then turned out to be a dick. Not only was he a teacher but also he used to harass Calum physically.
"Someone must just have a little crush. It can't be anything to major but...you know why I'm looking out for you right? Me and Cameron..." Calum attempted to finish the sentence but I could tell that he just couldn't. I gave him a sympathetic look "I know Cal...don't worry okay? How was work?" I tried to change the subject to avoid him looking back at trauma too much, Calum got up to the fridge and got a can of Fanta that he shortly after cracked open. "It was fine in the end. Feel like I've learned a lot. You?" He took a sip of the fizzy citrusy drink. "that's good...yeah it was fine." "What did you do in your last lesson?" "Just teaching the basics to the the younger students. It was nice..." I smiled and sipped my coffee. Strange to think that the class aged 16-17 is better behaved than the 17-18 year. How does that even work? "Really? I'm glad they were nicer to you" he smiled back at me. "I'm sorry about Chuck...I think he got out of control but he told me he would apologise." he added. Hmph. I've heard that before, he only really apologises if he wants something out of it. Like for example, he apologised so he could stay in our room when we told him he was going to get shot. "It's fine don't worry about it" I bluntly said. "Do you have a good relationship with your boss?" "Yeah he's really nice and caring. How you getting on with Chuck?" I finished my coffee, and was tempted to make another but I just need to calm down with my caffeine addiction to be honest. Calum gulped his carbonated drink and gave a rather positive smile. oH. "To be honest...he's quite a good guy. He means well and always asks how you are. He thinks highly of you to be honest." Calum said. oH again. "That's nice...glad you guys are getting along." I washed my cup. "Luke...do you think you'll...try to be friends with him? You wasn't very talkative earlier..." Calum raised an eyebrow. I paused for a few moments before answering. "Calum, I didn't could never be friends with Chuck. I'll be mutual, I'll be nice, but that's it." There's no way I'm becoming friends with him. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Calum looked at me like 😶 "Right...okay then...we're adults is all I am saying..." "I know." I was also like 😶, although I guess I could understand where Calum was coming from. He didn't want any bad blood. "Well...are you not even going to try? For me?" "Alright, fine. I'll try for you. But if it doesn't work out I'm not gonna be all fake with him like it's all fine." I confessed. I'm not a fake person and Chuck knows that. "Luke if it doesn't work I'm gonna do the same. I'm happy with how he's been lately but I'll ALWAYS choose you." Calum's words made me blush. "And I'll always choose you Calum." I smiled shyly. "But I've been feeling a little weird about...her.." Calum seemed nervous as he spoke. Huh? "About who?" I asked with curiosity, however I should've guessed who he was talking about. "Meredith..." he sat down on the sofa. He then looked down at his hands, and I wasn't sure what he was looking at until I realised. It was the ring I gave him. "Didn't you...give her one of these too?" I sighed and sat next to him "Calum, what's bought this on?" "Oh nothing...was just thinking about it as I was looking at the ring at work.." "Calum. I don't want you to think this is just a ring that I gave to you for a stupid reason. I gave it to you because I love you. I gave one to her because I was stupid and I thought that giving her a ring would stop her from cheating and stop her from behaving like a psychopath. If I could take back the moment I gave it to her..I would." I swallowed hard as my Adam's Apple bobbed, I felt as though I hadn't done anything wrong but at the same time I felt extremely guilty. "I understand...I guess I just got paranoid. I mean, I know you don't like Chuck but he's just a guy we didn't like, this is your ex that's come back into your life. I just don't want her to try anything funny..." Calum bit his lip anxiously. "We had multiple reasons to not like Chuck though Calum. She's...she was really nice to me that evening when we were arguing Calum. So the least I can do is be nice back. She's not going to try anything funny, if she did, do you think I'd let her?" I placed my hand on his thigh. No way. I would never let Meredith try anything. I've been there, done that, and I'm just not interested anymore. I'm in love with Calum. Calum sighed "I'm sorry..I trust you...I do... I just love you so much and I didn't want her to think that we aren't in a good place, just cause she saw us fight like that..." he looked down and I placed my hand on his cheek "and I love you so much, no matter how much we argue, I will always love you Calum. You mean everything to me." I kissed him. He kissed back as his lips puckered against mine. "Do you feel better about work though? Have you met any other teachers yet?" He asked me. "I'm still..getting used to it. I haven't, not yet" I shrugged. I can't believe I hadn't met anyone else yet, I guess I was just shy.
"I haven't either...gah I just wish I could work with you again, I do miss the anchor. When we used to make out in the cellar when it wasn't busy." He chuckled. Those were good times. I'm surprised Steve never asked us about that considering there's probably cameras in there. "Me too, remember that one time we knocked over the barrel of ale because we were too busy dry humping by it?" I chuckled. "Those were the days! And a customer was like "oH what's that noise" and we told them it was a stray cat outside, when really it was you making all the noise..." he teased, I couldn't help but giggle more. "Pffffft I can't help it, you're just too irresistible!" I crashed my lips on his.
We had yet more banging sex, that lasted for a lot longer than usual and it was ruined by the maid walking in. The fuck?! I told the cleaner not to tidy our apartment because we like to know where everything is! We should've probably locked the door but pfft we never do that. The cleaner looked at us like 😶 and me and Calum were even more like 😶. "Get out!!" Calum yelled. She ran out without apologising or saying word. Seriously, what the fuck just happened? "What the fuck" I said as Calum climbed off me, we were unable to continue after that. And can you blame us? I certainly hope not. "Cheeky bitch!" Calum was still pissed off that she didn't knock. He decided to make a post on Facebook, not the most mature decision he's ever made. "Balls deep in Lukes throat and the cleaner comes in without knocking!! Rude cunt!!! Felt like asking her to join in the cheeky bitch!!😡🤬" He posted. At first, I got the wrong idea about that last part. "Oi why would you ask her to join?" I glared at the post. "To see her reaction, we should've been r00d back to her!" Calum said defensively. I noticed that Frank and Dougie has heart reacted the post and Chuck had left a comment "wow she sounds r00d, hope you lads enjoyed!💦💦" I don't remember Calum saying that he added him on Facebook? Must have done it when he was drunk pfft. I was so 😶 at Chucks comment. "Oh um...that's erm..er.." Calum stuttered. "oH wow...well it's better than him calling us batty boys like last time!" I tried to look on the bright side.
Well, that was eventful, but we decided to continue having a nice night. We decided to go out and have dinner together, all we needed was some romantic vibes.
