Happy New Year Guys🖤 this chapter is going to be very fucking long, but it's the last one all written in Calum's POV🖤 I will do a proper written outro once the book is complete but for now, enjoy!
///////////////////////////////////////////Calum's POV:
I had been with Frank for about an hour, we tried looking in a store that was fairly far away from the area Luke was browsing so we didn't risk bumping into each other at all, it's bad luck to see the person you're marrying in their wedding attire before the wedding! Frank and I shared some brotherly hugs, and deep conversations of nostalgia. I can't believe my big day was coming up in just a few weeks. I was going to marry Luke Hemmings, the man or my dreams. The only man I've ever loved. He's the one, I know he's the one. He's my everything. I wasn't sure what colour to go for, I mean I didn't know what Luke was gonna be wearing so I was worried about clashing with him too much, but I'm sure we could make it work either way. I eventually picked out a black and grey 3 piece suit.
I ended up buying it, Frank said it looked great and really "suited me" which I appreciated from him yet couldn't help make a pun out of. Haha. "Suited me". I thought it was funny okay? I decided after picking my suit it was time to ask Frank to be my best man. I had already received a text from Luke saying that he has already asked Dougie and he said yes. We've got Mali as our bridesmaid, now we just need someone as our best man. And I knew from day one who I was gonna be. Frank isn't just my best friend, he's my brother. Him and Dougie are like family to us. "Hey..whilst we are here... can I ask you something?" I turned to Frank. "Of course bro, go for it" he replied. I took in a heavy sigh, ready to ask him. "You're... you're the best friend anyone could ever ask for. I mean.. I did have a few friends before starting the same school as you guys but... as well as meeting Luke, meeting you and Dougie has been one of the best things thats ever happened to me. I want you to be my best man, Frank" I asked him. Straight away his face lit up with a smile "really?! Me?! Calum I'd love to!" Frank jumped over and gave me the biggest hug. Words can't describe how much I adore this man. Now everything for the wedding is almost sorted! And Frank even mentioned that he was thinking of popping the question to Dougie soon. This day couldn't get anymore perfect.
Luke and I managed to arrange everything perfectly to our standards, and as time went on it was almost time for the wedding. We had amazing bachelor parties, and everything was in order. It was the night before our wedding day, and Luke and I decided to share a few glasses of wine with each other. Only a few, because we couldn't be too hungover for our wedding. "Isn't it crazy how this is out last night as fiancé's?" He smiled and sat next to me on the sofa. "I know... gahhh to think how far we've come! I never thought I'd get married at age twenty-two" I chuckled. "But I know you're the one" I smiled at Luke and he pecked my lips. "And I know you're the one too..." he replied as i sprawled down on the sofa "cuddle meeeee!" I whined "gladly!" Luke lay next to me and spooned me. "My boy..." "I can't wait to call you my husband" Luke kissed me gently. I wanted to protect him with all my heart. I massaged his back gently "me either babe..." "I'm just so over the moon... after all this shit has happened... I was really worried that we would've had to postpone the wedding" Luke looked up at me. It was my time to shine and remind him that everything is officially gonna be okay now. I looked deeply into my blonde boy's eyes. "Babe... it's all gonna be okay now. No more stalkers... no more violence...no more Meredith, no more Chuck, no more Cameron, no more Arzaylea! Just me... and you... forever." I stroked his hair, as we held each other closer. "Forever." I could feel his heart beating, it made me quiver inside. I just love him so fucking much. The two of us fell asleep holding each other, keeping our promises to one another that we were both going to be okay.
