Calum's POV:

She was doing my absolute head in, Meredith was taking over everything, she is the biggest attention seeking bitch I know. I personally believe that Chuck will see her and think that getting rid of her was the best thing to ever happen to him, he will not miss her at all. She's infuriating, I don't know how Luke is putting up with it all again.

We got a taxi to Chuck's place, and there wasn't too many people there which was a relief, only. A few people from the office and his other friends, surprisingly there was also people there from the CCIM club. Chuck was dancing in the kitchen and pouring drinks for everyone. "Hey everyone! So glad you could make it!" He cheered. "Chuck! Hey man!" I said enthusiastically whilst everyone else just gave slight nods and Luke just came out with "...alright?" Awkwardly, as he does. "Aww great you all made it! Help yourself to whatever. Got plenty of booze! Great tunes, let's just have a good time!" He threw his first in the air.

So after half an hour of partying, we all started feeling tipsy, dancing, doing our own thing. I noticed Luke disappear into the garden with Meredith, not sure why? Maybe they needed a chat? I'm sure it was just my paranoia. I had no reason to be jealous, I trust Luke. I went to go and ask Chuck if he had any vodka, and he took me into the kitchen. I just have spent an entire hour with Chuck drinking vodka. And it seemed as though Frank and Dougie went upstairs to have sex, why am I not surprised? It then came to me that Luke had been with Meredith this entire time, and I was starting to get more and more anxious. The alcohol wasn't helping, I was starting to feel drunk. I just had to get it off my chest. "She's annoying me Chuck, dressing like that just to make you miss her. Who even does that?! She has no idea who you've become and what you have made of yourself." I knocked back my 5th double vodka and coke. "Yeah she's dressed like a proper slag. I know I said I'd make peace with her but I still think she's a tramp. Luke doesn't seem to mind." He slurped his vodka. I looked up and furrowed my eyes at him. What the hell was he talking about? "What do you mean by that?" I asked him, it's almost like he had read my mind. "I just swear I saw him check her out earlier, that's all. Maybe I was wrong." He shrugged. When he said that, my paranoid thoughts grew like a fucking tornado. No? Surely not? He can't be checking HER out?! Of all people! "You're kidding right?! But why?! Right I need another drink." I felt hurt as fuck and Chuck made me another vodka and coke, except this time it was more...coke and vodka. It was strong and tasted horrendous but I needed this right now. By this point, I wasn't drunk. I was fucking WANKERED. Chuck then changed his tone of voice to a more sympathetic one. "Sorry bro...just thought you deserved to know. But hey, fuck him right? It's his loss. He doesn't deserve you Cal, and him letting Meredith come to your house when you don't like her? Pfft well rude."

Well. I hate to admit it, Chucks right. He's right, I love Luke and trust him with all my heart but he's been hanging out with his ex in front of me all night tonight. I almost wanted to shed a tear, but for some reason I couldn't cry. When I'm too drunk, I don't cry. "He's supposed to be the love of my life. We live together, have been together 3 fucking years and now he's starting to choose some stupid girl who works in a strip club that cheated on him! When I was always faithful? How lovely of him." I frowned, I got more and more upset by the minute. "I know, I don't want to be rude but sounds like he's still a kid. After tonight I think he's proven it. I mean look! They've been with each other outside for like what, an hour now?! The fuck are they even doing?!" He scoffed and made me another drink. I know I shouldn't drink anymore, but if I sober up, I'll just get more angry. I need to try and forget and hold on as long as I can without exploding. "Are you sure they've been outside together that long? Haven't you seen him with anyone else?" I asked. He looked towards the back door leading to the garden and gave a rather certain nod. "Yeah I definitely see them together." "Well I'm gonna look to see what's going on, because they seem to be spending a lot of time together." I walked towards the door and Chuck followed me. By this point, i had started stumbling and the atmosphere was still somehow tense.
