Calum's POV

Monday morning. It had arrived. The weekend was over and I was not ready for it. Could I not just spend one more day with my boyfriend? I woke up still snuggling Luke, feeling good, feeling satisfied, after finally getting something I've wanted for a while. Not to mention it was rather early, and we were just so tired after that we had the best night sleep. I heard the alarm go off and I groaned wanting to stay asleep, I switched the alarm off. "Ugh first day of work" I mumbled still half asleep. Luke was already awake, he kissed my forehead and I was blessed. "You'll do great babe" he said with a slightly raspy morning voice, it was rather sexy. "You too babe...woah.." I sat up and then felt something in the sheets. Oh god. We were just too tired after fucking last night that we didn't clean off afterwords like we usually do. Just my luck to forget when it's my turn PFFT. "Woah what?" Said Luke confused. "Um...there's uh.." I felt slightly embarrassed and moved the sheets slightly to show him the stains. He chuckled. "That's okay, don't worry about it. I enjoyed myself, did you?" Luke gave me cheeky smirk. "Always" I smiled, I swear I was so fucking in love with this man. I sat up "normally I'd cuddle you for 5 extra minutes but we should probably...throw these sheets in the wash and cuddle on the sofa" "sounds good, as long as I get that extra 5 minute cuddle. You are great to cuddle with" he rolled out of bed not wanting to get up. I giggled and helped him up "come on Luke, up you get!" I giggled as we stood up and threw the sheets into the wash basket and put some new clean ones on. I sprawled out on the sofa, tapping my lap "get over here" he sat on my lap "much better" he gave a quick dab on my cheek. "So how you feeling about the first day of work?" He asked as I wrapped my arms around him. "Nervous...the closer it comes, the more I think of the..incident.." I slowly said, referring to when I attacked Chuck with the bleach at school. "Chucks glass eye is a little scary and it takes me back to that moment when I was such a horrible person.." I frowned. "Hey hey, you weren't horrible, it was self defence okay? You need to remember that. He said a lot of nasty things before you did that... besides, just think of what an even greater person you are today." Luke reassured me. "I guess so...I'm just glad he's a lot nicer now, maybe he got hit in the head with a big ass hammer and had some sense knocked into him" I joked. "How are you feeling about your first day?" I changed the subject. "Maybe...I'm nervous too. It's just a lot to take on you know?" I could tell he was nervous. "I'm sure the kids will love you, at least you've already met one of them. What was she like? Was she good with French?" I tried lightening the mood which made me think, he barely spoke about her. Was there something that he was hiding? "She was...interesting..." he mumbled. I furrowed my eyebrows. I looked at him with concern. "Are you okay? You said that awkwardly...as fuck..." "I did? Sorry.." he bit his lip and squeezed his eyes together. I could tell something was wrong but I didn't want to talk to him about it too much incase it threw off his concentration for work.

"Never mind, the last thing I need to be doing is putting you on the spot before our big day" I snuggled into him. He snuggled back. "I'm going to miss you, it'll be weird not working with you" "I know" I pouted "but then I know I'll appreciate my time with you at home more and it'll be more special. Coffee?" I asked. "That's true...Sounds great." He smiled. I lifted Luke's little booty out of the way to turn on the kettle. "What would you like for breakfast?" I asked nicely as Luke stretched out on the sofa. "Hmmmmmm I don't mind. Need any help?" His raspy morning voice made my skin quiver, he was still half asleep at least and he looked absolutely exhausted. "Nahh you relax! You made dinner for me last night so now it's my turn" I made him scrambled eggs on toast, a classic favourite of ours. I also made the coffee whilst the eggs were in the pan, and passed it to Luke. "Thank you baby, you are an angel" he sipped his coffee. "At least you didn't burn your tongue this time and scream "putain de saké!" like last time" I chuckled and put the food on the table and sat down, Luke wasted no time in sitting down at the table with me. "Pffft nah not this time, nor have that deadly coffee I made." That was eventful. There was like, how many? Five spoonfuls of coffee? With pro plus? How he survived that I do not know. "That's my good boy!" I giggled and started to season my eggs with salt and pepper.
