~Does anybody know what we are looking for?~
Queen
After Hannah left me and we both went back to our homes, I ran up to my room to plan my revenge on Cole. He embarrassed me and I was not gonna let it slid like that. Plus I love messing around with people so, watch your backs, dear brothers.
I had decided to do the most common prank anyone can think of: temporary hair color in shampoo. And I knew that red does not suit on Cole so... Red it is!
I pulled out my phone to text Vince what I wanna do and I needed his help because come on, having a prankster in our home is like a blessing.
Just as I was about to tap on his name, my door opened and he got in. 'Wow, now this is timing'.
He plopped himself next to me on my bed, lying there, after he threw his bag in the corner of my room, hand behind his head. Oh my gosh, it is truly surprising how our bond has been increased in such a short time I know him.
"How are you, baby cuz?" he asked, a grin playing on his lips. He pinched my cheek. You really cannot understand how much it annoys me when people do that.
I groaned loudly and smacked his hand away, hearing him giggle. I swear I love him and all but sometimes he gets on my nerves!
"Two things. One, you are only one year older than me! Two I-"
"That does not mean I cannot treat you like a baby"
"Two" I playfully glared at him with the corner of my eye "I need your help" as soon as I told him that, a smirk rose on his face. He just sat up, put his palm in front of my face, motioning me to remain silent, and reached to grab his bag. And when he opened it, lemme tell ya my jaw dropped to the ground. Except for his books and notebooks, he had silly string, graffiti sprays, confetti, every hair dye color, water guns, and the air horn we used that day to wake up my brothers.
"What do we need now?" he asked mischievously, nudging my arm lightly. Oh, he knows me so well. "Before you say anything, don't you dare mention my name to Cole, or you are my next victim" poking my side.
I rolled my eyes at him and squirmed away, some giggles leaving me before I grabbed the red hair dye from the bag to read it.
TEMPORARY HAIR COLOR - RED
I was in no mood to have a grumpy Cole wandering around the house and complaining about his hair color, so I had to use not permanent color. Or else, you know where I would be found? Yup, you guessed right. Twenty-six meters under the ground, chitchatting with Freddy Mercury himself.
"Okay, watch the corridor while I am putting it in his shampoo" I whispered to him and rushed out of my room and into Cole's. Vince sighed humorously behind me and followed me, standing outside the door. I could hear the saxophone being played so I knew that Cole was in the music room. I swear this lad is extremely talented.
His room was tidier than every room I have seen in the house. The clothes were all well-formed and placed in his closet, his desk was tidied and all the books were on their shelves, in alphabetic order. His bed was already made and the nice circle carpet which was on the nice, dark wooden floor was straighter than ever. Posters of great saxophonists like Charlie Parker and John Coltrane (a/n yeah, don't ask, I wanna learn how to play the saxophone and when I was younger I was reaching things about it...) were on his walls and the same photo which was on my nightstand was placed on his wall as a painting.
I awed at that. I really loved that picture. It reminded me that I was born in this family. That now I was finally home. Safe. I was where I always belonged to. I was where I was supposed to be all those years. Home. With my family. My real one. Not an abusive and toxic one. A real family.
