~Thank you~
Today had been a truly boring day. I had literally nothing to do and I was walking up and down in my room, not knowing what to do. The whole day we were out of electricity and the boys were all working in the basement. Vince was out with Myles and god knows where they were. They had all left me all alone dying of boredom.
I was currently lying on my bed, watching the ceiling, thinking what I could do. 'Going to the music room is useless, I have not started guitar lessons with Chris yet, going to the game room is boring because nothing was working, movie room same, now way in hell I am going to the gym, libr- Wait! The library!' I shot up from my seat excited and bolted out of my room.
Why hadn't I thought about it sooner?! It is the only room I can relax in and find every book I want. And apparently, it was the only place I could go and do something rather than staring at my luminaire, waiting for it to switch on.
I opened the heavy, wooden, delicately carved door and I was met with the most peaceful and relaxing view. The books were simply relaxing on the shelves as the morning light was falling on them. The quiet was sending a wave of relaxation down my spine and my mind was getting swallowed by the intimidating but at the same time calming atmosphere.
I closed the door behind me and walked into the room, trying to find the perfect book for me to entertain myself. The hours didn't seem to pass as long as we were staying without electricity.
I walked to the Classic Literature Section, looking for a good Jules Verne book to read. He is my favorite author along with Charles Dickens and I love all their books.
I was brushing my fingers above the flesh covers of books until I finally found the ideal one. The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne.
I grabbed the book and turned on my feelings to go and sit on the oval, viva magenta, velvet armchair and read the book, when I heard a loud thud behind me, making me jump like a cat. I turned around and I saw that 4 books had fallen, exhaling in relief.
I kneeled down, collecting the book to put them back in their place when my eye fell on something I had never seen before in the house. Photo albums. I put the books back into their place fastly and I kneeled back down to see what photos they had inside.
I grabbed a baby pink one and opened it to the first page. There was written my name. Nefeli Agostino.
I flipped the page and I was met with the cutest thing I had ever seen. It was me fast asleep on Dylan when we were babies... Yeah don't ask, I have learned how to distinguish the twins. I felt butterflies erupting into my stomach. He looked so calm and sweet... Nothing like the cold person he wants to show to everyone now.
On the next page was a photo of me and Alex playing in my crib with my toys. He was holding a yellow, red, and orange train and he was rolling next to my tiny foot while I was playing with his pinky. I mentally cooed at what I had in front of me. Ever since then I was really close with Lex...
The next one was a photo of me and Cole in the car. I was sitting next to him asleep on my child seat and he was holding my hand, sucking on his pacifier. He was so cute when he was a baby! I wish he could now be as cute as he was then.
Then it was a photo with Aiden sitting on a hammock swing, me on his lap, while he was reading me a book and I was playing with his fingers. Ah, I always loved and I still love those lovable moments with Aiden. He is the only one of my brothers who makes me feel that way and enjoy those relaxing moments with him.
On the following page, there was a photo of Chris playing his guitar above my crib, lullabying me, while I was making grabby hands for him to hold me. Have I ever mentioned how much I love it when Chris is playing his guitar? Seems like I love it since I was a baby. It helps me soothe down and I can see another side of Chris. A magical and soft one.
