School has ended, and now Levy, Gajeel, and I were at our favorite cafe talking about how we think Lucy's date with Natsu went. Well, more like it was me and Levy talking about it. Gajeel just stayed quiet, amused at our imaginations.

"I think that Natsu confessed and they kissed, but are keeping their relationship secret!" Levy squealed.

"No no no. I think that Lucy kissed him on the cheek and told him bye at the end." I retorted.

"First off, it's not a date, it's a tutoring lesson, and second, I think that Flamethrower doesn't deserve her. She's too nice and he's too dense." Gajeel said.

"Shut up Gajeel. They are perfect together!" We yelled together at him.

He rolled his eyes and laughed his odd laugh.

"Although if I had to guess, I'd say that idiot and her are now boyfriend and girlfriend, and are going to go on their first date here!" He said confidently.

We looked at him like he was crazy, and denied it. Then the cafe doors chimed and in walked Lucy and Natsu. Lucy came over to us excitedly and squealed.

"Guys! Natsu confessed to me! He requested me as his tutor because he couldn't find the right time to confess. We're now dating!"

Everyone in the cafe would be looking at her because of how loud she's being, but our friend, who also owns this cafe, reserved it for us. Our mouths dropped and we looked at Gajeel. He had a know-it-all look on his face, and a proud smile.

"Told ya, Shrimp." He said to Levy. "I want some apologies from you two."

"Didn't even know you could count that high, baka." Levy mumbled.

"Now I want two apologies from you, Shrimp."

Levy sighed.

"Sorry." We both said.

"And sorry for calling you a baka." She mumbled again.

"Not exactly loud, but I'll take it." Said Gajeel as he shrugged.

I mean, she mumbled the first one, it's only fair if she mumbled the second one too.

We celebrated their new relationship at the cafe, and Lucy told us exactly what happened while Natsu chuckled at her excitement.

So basically, Lucy walked into the library for the tutoring session, but she didn't see him anywhere. He snuck up behind her and scared her, to which she kicked him as a reflex. Natsu rubbed his side in rememberence when she said that.

"And then I asked her to be my girlfriend, she said yes, and I carried her here, being the loving boyfriend that I am!" Natsu boasted.

"You did not!" Lucy laughed, "we held hands and walked over here, then saw Gajeel in the window and waved at him."

Natsu pouted for ruining his fun, and Gajeel started sweating.

"So Gajeel, your story doesn't quite add up," Levy said with a tick mark on her forehead.

"Gajeel-kun, it isn't nice to lie," I said as well.

"W-Well . . . I didn't exactly LIE . . ." He said, getting nervous.

"You said 'Although if I had to guess, I'd say that idiot and her are now boyfriend and girlfriend, and are going to go on their first date here!' That's lying, Gajeel. You knew it would happen because you saw it," Levy said, mimicking his voice.

"Oh come on, Shrimp don't be mad," Gajeel said, "And I don't sound like that!"

"Hmpf!" She said, "Stop calling me thaat!" She whined.

"But how can I when it's true!" He argued back, "Just accept that you're an adorable Shrimp, okay Shrimp?" He said.

"W-What?!" She exclaimed.

I have to admit, we all were caught by surprise. Especially Levy, who was now trying to hide her blush. Gajeel looked at Levy blushing and realized what he said.

"N-No wait I-I didn't mean it-" He said, trying to think of an excuse.

Levy stopped blushing and looked down, upset.

"I know, that's not what you meant," she said, "You meant to say annoying, not adorable."

She got up and since she was in the opening seat in the booth, she was able to get up without having to ask us.

"Wait Shrimp I-"

"Don't call me that, Gajeel . . ." She interrupted, "I'll see you guys tomorrow."

She left the cafe and we were silent for a minute.

"Wow Gajeel. That was rough, even for you," Lucy said.

"I didn't mean it . . ." He said.

"Those exact words are what got you into this mess, so stop saying them and start saying what you mean," I told him.

He sighed, "You're right. Thanks Juv," he said and left. He was probably going after her.

"Geez. They say they're a couple but they act like they're not! It's so confusing!" Lucy whined.

"Agreed. It's like they're back to square one, hanging out and silently crushing on each other without the other knowing. It's a bit infuriating," I replied.

"So Juvia, how are you doing? I heard you had a panic attack. Was it because of you-know-what?" Natsu asked.

I sighed. "You can just say it, you know. Yeah. I'm just worried. I have no idea what's happening to Jamie, and I keep imaging him hurt. That's what triggered the panic attack," I revealed.

"Aw I'm sorry Juvia. I don't know how it feels, so I can't sympathize with you, but just know that you can talk to me whenever, okay? I'm always here for you!" Lucy said as she hugged me.

I nodded.

"I know if I lost Wendy, I'd go crazy. In fact I've caught her up at night. I think she still feels guilty. She was there, you know. When he disappeared," Natsu said.

"Yeah. Just tell her it's not her fault. You can't stop someone from disappearing. Plus she wasn't even in the room, so how could she know? I'll come over later to talk with her," I said.

"Okay, I'll tell her you're coming over," he replied.

"Well, have fun on your date. I'll be over at your house in a few hours, okay?" I said as they got up to let me out of the booth. They nodded and we said our goodbyes.
