"Names?" The worker asked.

"John and Amelia Lockser," My parents said.

"Juvia Lockser and Gray Fullbuster," I said as well.

"All 4 may proceed. The investigators for your case are in room 302."

We went to the room and a man came out. He signaled us to come in, and we entered. We sat in chairs, and 2 of the men who came to our house sat in front of us. There was also that man behind them who had a chief's badge. He must have been the one in charge of assigning investigators to their cases. He would definitely know if there was a fake one.

"Hello, Lockser family and Mr. Fullbuster. I do regret to inform you that there was a fake investigator. The 2 men you see before you are the real ones. So anyone else who comes to your house claiming to be an investigator is a fake. We will call you directly if we need to suddenly add another person onto the case, and we will give you a description of him as well," The chief said.

"Thank you, sir," Mom replied, "But I do have to ask, why is the meeting being immediately changed to now?"

"Well, we wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible so that there will be no more mistakes like this. Also, your daughter did call us with requests that sounded extremely important. So we wanted to hear her out," he said, gesturing to me.

My parents looked at me, curious. I took a deep breath and stood up. I took my phone out, ready to explain.

"You see, I actually know exactly what happened to Jamie," I started.

Everyone in the room except for Gray gaped at me. Gray stood up as well, getting his phone out, ready to show the recordings he took while spying on me and Lyon. Secretly, I'm actually quite glad he took those videos. I explained everything to them. Gray and I showed them the recordings, and lastly, the text message. They all listened carefully. I even explained my plan. When I was finished, The chief spoke.

"I see. You have certainly gone through a lot, Miss Lockser, and you are not to blame for keeping all of this hidden. We will go along with your plan. If we find that Lyon has indeed led us to Jamie, then he will absolutely be charged with kidnapping of a minor, child abuse, battery, assault, threats, harassment, etc. We will send our best to follow him tomorrow," the chief said.

I sighed in relief. "Thank you so much. Gray and I will show you any more evidence if we come across any."

Gray agreed.

With that we left, and all of us, included Gray, went back to our house. When we entered the house, Mom immediately hugged me.

"So that's why you said it was your fault. Hunny, you are not at fault for Lyon's actions. In fact, you are the reason Jamie is still safe. I'm very proud of you for waiting for the right time," she told me.

I didn't know what to say so I just hummed in response. I still felt mostly responsible, but I didn't want my parents to know that. I didn't want them to worry more than they already did.

Dad patted Gray's shoulder.

"I knew you'd be the right choice for her. I never did completely trust that boy," he said.

Gray chuckled and sighed, "Yeah, but I trusted him. He played me like a fool and I didn't even notice what was happening," he said sadly.

"It takes a man to admit that though, Gray. And the fact you feel remorse for it proves that you are one," Dad replied.

"Dad, you sound like Elfman," I sweat dropped. Elfman and Lisanna were Mira's siblings, and my friends. They've come over here a few times, so my parents actually have met them.

"Good. That boy's a real man. He's even got the word in his name," Dad laughed.

We invited Gray to stay for dinner, and we invited his family too. His dad couldn't make it, so only his sisters and mother came.

"Juvia/Meredy!" The both of us yelled as I opened the door for Gray's family.

Meredy and I were really close as well, although she was really shy, so she barely hung out with our group. Gray's mother laughed and Ultear, who is Gray's older sister, waved with a smile.

"Hey Ur! Hello girls!" My mother greeted from the kitchen.

"Hi Ms. Amelia!" Meredy and Ultear replied.

"Amelia, let me help you!" Ur said.

"Well it's kind of too late," Mom laughed, "All I need is to make the salad, but you can help with that if you want!"

Gray's mom loves to cook with mine. They're really good friends, even before Gray and I started dating. Mom told me that her and Ms. Ur were friends in high school, but she moved to the mountains with Gray's dad Silver, and they've lived there for awhile. It's actually where Gray and his siblings were born. They moved back here a couple years ago, and when we started dating and our families met, they recognized each other and rebuilt their friendship. Now they're even closer.

Dinner was ready and we all sat down. Meredy and I started talking excitedly about our favorite show, Charmed, and Ultear joined in while Gray just looked at us, amused and confused.

(Warning: spoilers if you haven't watched up to the 3rd season, or if you haven't watched it at all but plan to. This is the reboot of Charmed, by the way.)

"Do you think Maggie should give Jordan a chance? It could backfire like her relationship with Parker," Meredy asked me.

"She probably will anyway. What about Macy and Harry? Do you think they'll finally get rid of the magic allergy so they can be together?" I replied with another question.

"I hope they do. They're so cute together! What do you think, Ul?" Meredy asked.

"I have to admit, they are cute together. It's sad that when they finally get together, this allergy comes and ruins it. Quite annoying," she said, nodding her head. The both of us agreed.

"Who do you think has the saddest romantic life?" I asked them.

"Well, I think Maggie. Parker, remember?" Meredy said.

"True. Having a demon boyfriend usually doesn't work out well. Mel has to erase her first girlfriend's memory of their relationship though. Imagine that! Only to meet each other later, that's gotta be tough. I think they're equal," I said.

"Well Gavin died, and Macy brought him back to life but then had to let him die again. But she has Harry now, even if she has to stay 4 feet away from him at all times cause of the allergy. I think all of them are equally sad," Ultear voiced her opinion too.

"You guys are really into this, aren't you?" Gray laughed. We all turned to him with glares.

"Of course we are! Charmed is the best show ever!" We yelled at him. Our parents stopped talking and looked at us. They laughed.

"Okay okay I'm sorry!" Gray said with his hands up.

We had proud looks on our faces as we discussed other things about the show. I still felt a pang of sadness. Jamie liked this show too. Meredy noticed and pat my shoulder. I smiled at her, silently thanking her, and we kept on talking until they had to leave.
