***A picture of Claude above***
"I'm sure you sensed me at the bar last night" Smirking as he perched himself on the railing. I sat away from him on my folding chair away from him.
With Damien out of direct danger, I could relax somewhat.
"Yes, I saw you while I was picking a meal"
Raising a brow "Your hips while dancing with those humans would say otherwise" His mucky green eyes daring me to deny.
Crossing my arms "I'm allowed to dance"
With a quick leap he stood hovering over me. His arms trapping my head as he leaned closer.
"You knew I was there. Were you dancing for me love?" His voice deepened in my ear.
Staring up at him, pushing his chest rough enough to allow me to stand. "I was dancing because I wanted to"
His nose flared, gripping my jaw before I could stop him "You will stop this madness and come back with me!"
Jerking my head back "Absolutely not"
"What can you possibly have here that I can't give you?!"
Damien. For one.
"My freedom" Seething out, exposing my fangs.
He didn't like that.
His hand shot to my throat. My eyes wide as my back hit the cement wall with a hard crack.
"You've played your games long enough. You will come back home. Where you belong!" His spit splattering my face as he lifted me higher. Gripping the sides of his head, gripping his hair as I kicked him with all my strength. To no avail.
"I have changed my love, you will have all the freedom you can imagine as long as you come back with me!" Wailing with anguish.
"Changed?! Look at you! Look at us! You will always be a monster!" Bringing my dangerously close to his throat. Pulling chunks of his hair out as I tried to free from his grip.
Dropping me to my feet. Slicking back of what was left of his hair. Straightening his clothes with a calm expression. He always had to make sure he wore the most expensive clothes and looked his best. But no amount of expensive clothes could cover up his ego.
I may have fell for it when I was young. But his charms would never work on me now.
"Come. We will eat and discuss this later"
He wasn't asking. I knew he wouldn't leave if I didn't come with him though.
"Only if you swear to leave immediately. Tonight" Crossing my arms.
His fingers trailed my cheek smiling "If that is truly want you want. And you decide not to leave with me tonight. I will leave"
Turning my cheek from his vile touch.
"I will change my clothes then we will leave" Turning my back on him.
His heavy footsteps followed me inside. Ignored him as I felt his eyes never leave my back.
My mind was on edge. I couldn't trust his word. He says he'll leave but I've learned from the past his word to me means very little.
Opening the closet calmly, grabbing the first set of clothes I found first. Walking to the bathroom with speed. Turning to close the door but Claude's large body filled the frame.
"Must you close the door? You won't be showing me anything I haven't seen before" Licking over his fangs as his eyes took in my chest. Slamming the door in has face, his deep chuckle from behind the door sending me into a rage.
Pulling my right hand back before slamming it into the mirror.
Glass fell at my feet as I stared into the mirror while changing. Memories of my years trapped with him filling my mind. But I shook the thoughts quickly.
I wish I had paid attention to what clothes I had grabbed as I looked myself over. The black corset top pushing my breast up with red lace down the middle. The black shoulder straps making an 'x' on my back. My blacked ripped skinny jeans at least matched it well.
I brushed my hair quickly, letting it fall over my shoulders.
I hated myself for leaving with him. The fact he still had this much control over my life even after all these years.
Stepping out of the bathroom, ignoring his lustful stares. Grabbing my favorite leather jacket from the bed as he sat comfortably with arms behind his head. Making himself quite at home.
"Let's go" Slipping on my black boots as I walked out the front door. Not waiting for him to follow.
Damien should be long gone by now. Hopefully somewhere safe and far away.
Trick or treaters lined up and down the streets. Their cheerful laughs as they ran past us, eager to go from one house to the next.
"A club perhaps? Since you suddenly have a love for dancing?" Taking my arm by force and looping it in his strong grip "I must say, you look the part for this lovely night. Shall fit in quite well"
I stayed silent. Hoping to get the point across I'd love to be anywhere but with him.
He dragged me to a slick red sport car that look out of place parked beside the many small private businesses.
Opening the passenger door for me as I crawled into the spacious car.
He quickly sped down the streets, dodging children and other cars with little care, probably only caring about the car's safety.
We stayed in complete silence. Every few minutes he'd try to start a conversation. But he quickly realized I was in no mood.
Damien's face came to mind while staring out the window. Would he even want to see me after this? We've known each other 24hrs and Claude shows up. I hope he listened and went somewhere safe. I'd come find him once it was safe and Claude was gone.
