Damien's body convulsed in my arms.  His screams echoing through the whole mansion.  Every molecule in me telling me to stop.  But if we were going to fight Claude, I needed him at his strongest. His free hand clutched me for dear life while I held the other tight in my clutch.  His flexing balled fist only making the blood flow faster.

"Shh. It'll be over soon" Crying into his wrist.  The warm liquid flowing down my throat as I felt my body buzz and come to life.  Allowing my venom to drip into his mouth along with my blood.

"S-stop please!" His rattling voice begged.  "I can't- please! Burning!" Another ear piercing scream shaking me to my core.

Pausing to lift my fangs.  My chest constricting. "I can't.  You know I can't" Diving back in, his body bucking in my grip.

I knew what he feeling all to well. My venom in his body was making his nervous system burn within.  Like a smoldering iron being shoved through his blood stream.  I remembered every fearful thought when Claude's vile venom coursed through me.

Damien's wild eyes locking on me as his knees buckled.  I continued drinking him in as his hands instinctively clawed at me.  Cradling his body on the floor as I could feel his pulse slowing.  His legs kicking out as I held him in place, his arms weakening.  He was losing his strength.

Damien clung to my body.  "Vict- please" Whimpering out.

"I know.  I'm so sorry" Moaning into his wrist as his body finally ceased.  Limp in my arms.  All of his painful wails stopping suddenly.  Forcing my self to stop suckling, but letting all my venom pour into his wound.

I have to make sure to give him enough of the toxic clear fluid seeping from my fangs.

His heart now barely beating now. I could hardly hear his breaths. Shit! Shit!

Ripping myself as I felt his heart nearly stop all together.

"Please work. Please!"

Biting a chunk of my palm hissing out before shoving the free fluid into his mouth gaped open.  His body still in my arms.

"Drink Damien.  You have to drink.  Baby please" Bringing my lips to his ear, tilting his head back allowing my blood to flow easily down his throat.  My eyes glued to the door as a soft thud behind the door vibrated the floor.

Damien's warm body was slowly chilling in my cool arms, panic rising in my chest.

I don't know how long this would take.  Did I take too much?  Cradling him as close as possible.

"You'll be okay.  You'll be okay" Rocking back and forth.  I couldn't hear his heart beat.  His chest suddenly stopped rising.  A cry leaving my lips.  "Please.  Please be okay" Closing my eyes tight.

Another loud thud of a body hitting the floor, now louder hit the ground as I heard yelling from outside the door.

Fuck.

Dragging Damien's body to the farthest wall from the door, keeping the bit wound open never leaving his blue lips.  Vocal chords choking watching the doorknob jiggle.  The sound of metal breaking before the door swinging open.

My eyes snapped open.

"Maggie" Sighing out in relief.

Her eyes bulging out of her skull before shutting the door behind me.

"What are you-"  Rushing down to my side.

"It's the only way he'll get out of her alive" Crying into his neck.  "But I can't feel his pulse.  H-he's not breathing anymore" Tremors wracking through me as I felt my body get colder.  "I-I think I messed up" Corners of my eyes stinging as my words cracked.  Shaking my head "I messed up Maggie"

"Give it time" Arms wrapping around my quivering shoulders as I tried to regain my nerves.  Bending down her head to his neck inhaling deeply.   "I can't smell his blood. That's a good sign" Her head looked up to the door.

"I don't think I did it right. He was in so much pain. I fucked up Maggie!" Crying out.  "I don't know if I was fast enough!"

"I can't stay.  I've taken out all the guards I could find.  But Claude will suspect something soon if he doesn't know already" Standing back to her feet as my eyes begging her to stay.

"I'll keep him away as long as possible" Zooming back to the door, her head looking back to me as her hand rested on the doorknob.  "When you feel body weakening.  Stop giving him your blood.  You'll need your strength"

"But- I c-can't-" Stuttering out.

"You both will need to drink as soon a possible.  I'll try to figure something out.  He's going to be okay" Her confident words almost convincing me.  "You're going to have to talk him through it WHEN he wakes up" Nodding once before slipping out the door and closing it softly.

Taking a shaky breath as I felt myself already feeling exhausted and tired just minutes after Maggie left.  Damien's unmoving body in my tight grip as I moved my palm away from his mouth.

My eyes taking in his purple lips.  His once sun kissed flesh lost it's glow, now pale.  Darker than me but it made him look sickly.  Closing my eyes as I hunched over his stiff body that laid across my lap.  Holding his head in my small hands, running my fingers through his thick hair.

"Please come back to me.  You and I just begun.  You can't leave me with just a taste of what's to come.  I should have wrapped you in my arms the first time I saw.  Not wasted so much time arguing and fighting what I felt.  I let Claude make me think I could never have you.  But I can't let you go.  You're mine Damien.  Just come back to me.  I'll try all the god awful human food.  I'll tell you every little detail about me that you tried so hard to pry out of me. Just come back to me"
