"Now Victoria!" Claude grabbed Damien by the back of the neck.
Standing to my feet as kept my head low.
"I need to do this by myself"
Pushing Damien aside. "Do you think I'm an idiot?! I'm not leaving you with him!" Pushing my chest back.
Biting back my anger.
"You want me to kill him. It will be on my terms"
"What?! Vict-" Damien sputtered. His eyes wide with shock. But I rose my hand to stop him. Keeping my eyes on Claude.
"Absolutely not!" Claude pinching my chin in his tight grip.
"Where could we go? Nowhere. You can stay out the door for all I care. But I request to do this on my own! You try to give me everything else. Give me this!" Pointing toward Damien who stood in shock.
But I had no other options.
"Please. Just let me do this the way I want to" Looking up softly. Feeling his grip loosen the slightest bit as his eyes, watching my face carefully. Looking for any lies.
Tucking my head down.
"Please Claude. I'll never ask for anything else"
"You can't be serious Victoria!" Damien stepped toward me.
"Shut up! You don't have a say!" The hurtful words burning my mouth to watch his face fall. "You were just convenient" Spitting in his direction. "I'm sorry I didn't realize sooner. That's my bad" Shrugging as I looked back to Claude.
Claude smirked back toward him. His eyes now beaming down at me.
"I will give you the night love" Claude paused. Tugging my hips closer to his towering body. "I will have guards outside the door at all times. And it will stay locked with silver. I expect him dead by sun down tomorrow"
Bowing my head in submission. "Thank you Claude" Keeping my eyes down. Away from Damien as Claude grabbed him by the shirt.
"I'm doing you a kindness. You don't deserve to die by her hands. But I am honoring my beloved request" Fangs seething as he tossed Damien to the side like a rag doll.
Keeping my head down. Claude went to the door. Pausing to turn in the door way. My eyes catching a flash of strawberry blonde hair zoom by, too fast for anyone else to notice.
"Make it slow love. Take your time" Smirking back at me. Twitching my lips up as I looked toward him from beneath my lashes with a small nod.
The door closed with a lock behind it. My eyes shooting to Damien as I wrapped him in my arms. But he shrugged from hold. The movement making my throat tighten and chest ache.
Bringing his ear to my lips. "I didn't mean it. I swear. I'm so sorry" Whispering softly, consuming all my words with sincerity.
Damien inched away, his weary amber eyes looking away from me.
"Are you going to do it?" Angry words only loud enough for me to hear. "I'd prefer it to be you" His body slacked against the wall.
"That's what I was going to ask you"
Pulling his brows together as he finally looked back to me. I could feel all of his hurt, betrayal, anger.
"What do you mean" Keeping his words low.
Taking the wall beside him as I kept my eyes on the door.
"I can turn you"
"But- you can't- he! What if-" His rushed words. Covering my hand over his lips.
"It wouldn't be a lie. And I would be taking her life. It's the only plan I have"
A stupid plan. But it was the only thing I could think of when seeing Claude dragging Damien in by his neck.
"I was so sure he had killed you" Pulling my knees to my chest. Damien turned his body to me, seeming uninjured. Even with blood coming from his nose that now had a small crooked bone. But his features still heart stopping.
"Maggie gave me her blood" Damien leaning his head back to me, eyes gauging my reaction. My blood boiled the slightest bit at that thought. But Maggie was smart to do so. "She kept giving it to me which is why I'm still standing" A smile teasing at his lips.
Standing to my feet crossing my arms, Damien stood up, large body looking down at me as I fought myself not to wrap him in my arms.
"I need to know if you want me to turn you. You'll have to make it believable for the guards out there" Whispering softly as I kept my voice soft. "I think it'll be the best bet on getting out of here with both our lives"
Damien took a step closer. His warm hands finding my hips. Sending chills down my body better the Claude ever could. Ever piece of my core hated what I said, but I need Claude to believe me. And Damien's reaction to be real, believable.
"I understand if you can't trust me after what I said" Eyes stinging with pain.
Damien's hands found my tender wrists that would only heal quicker if I fed.
"Feed first. Then you turn me. And fucking never step foot in this place ever again" Kissing just above the raw red marks. "Maggie told me, blood will help you heal faster"
"Did I see her out there" Pulling my brows together. Eyeing the door carefully. "I swear I-"
"She's on a mission" Pulling my body into his. My arms instinctively wrapping around his torso. Inhaling his chest, listening to his strong heart beat.
The puncture holes in Damien's neck. Blood was leaking close to my mouth.
"Drink" Instructing me firmly.
"It'll be the last time" Licking up his neck. His body pulling me in closer.
"You'll have to be quiet" Suckling him softly as he nodded. Pouring all my emotions into him. Any ounce of doubt he had, praying he could feel my utter devotion to him. Claude only made me love Damien more. I would give this man anything as long as I he was happy. If he wanted me out of his life for good. It would destroy me, but I would do it for him.
"I love you" Moaning quietly into his neck. Damien's hand finding my back. My own hands tangling themselves in his thick hair. "You have to tell me if you change your mind"
I could feel myself getting stronger by the second.
Damien's head moved, bringing his lips to mine. I fought a moan as tongue dove into my my mouth. His heart beat increasing as his groan vibrated through me.
"I love you" Moaning softly into my lips. "I knew you were for me the second I saw you"
I swear I can feel my heart thump at his words.
"Deep breath. It'll hurt. I have to have the guards believe it"
Damien breathed in one last time. His arms never leaving my waist.
I took my own deep breath as my nerves built up. My eyes searching the perfect spot. I brought his wrist to my lips. Eyeing the perfect vein. Damien's eyes watching me closely.
His loud screams echoing the room as I greedily drank him in.
