It was the first day at FSU. Elijah put on a black sweatshirt and green basketball shorts with a pair of vapormax. He was nineteen now, and Ramond was turning twenty in the next couple of months. His roommate, Isaiah was wearing a pale red t-shirt with some grey sweatpants.
"When is your boyfriend getting here?" Isaiah asked. Isaiah had dirty blonde hair, was tall with some green eyes that hung lowly like he was high all the time.
"He said he's on his way." Elijah said sitting on his bed.
"Do you ever miss high school?" Isaiah asked him laying on his back.
"I miss my friends, some of them are in Florida right now. But you know how college is". Elijah scoffed.
There was a knock on the door. Isaiah opened it and it was Ramond. He was wearing a purple long sleeve shirt, some slippers and some denim blue jeans. He dapped Ramond up.
"Hey sweets." Ramond said handing Elijah his booksack.
"Hey." Elijah smiled.
"You guys ready?" Kasey and Alandra walked in knocking.
"Yeah, let's go."
"You talked to our friends recently?" Ramond asked playfully bumping into him.
"I did two days ago. Omar didn't really respond but overall yeah."
"I'm surprised he even got into Columbia". Elijah laughed.
All of them started walking to their first class of the day or the year. The class was Chemisty, Professor Gonzalez.
"You ready?" Elijah asked holding out his hand to Ramond before they walked into the classroom.
"Yep."
