CHAPTER TWO: Heart Shaped Kisses

"Wait! You got Lopez?!" Freddie asked looking surprised. "Like your old bestfriend, Lopez?"

Freddie was a fair-skinned, brown haired, 6'0
basketball player. Him, Miles, and Elijah didn't become friends until 10th grade. DONT ASK WHY.

"Yes! Ramond Lopez!" Miles said chuckling as he was patting Elijah's  violet jacket. "Oh my God". Miles said laughing hysterically

"Would you just shut the hell up?!" Elijah yelled at Miles while shooting him a cold glare. "I'm sorry it's just...." Before Miles could finish the 'laughing while talking' thing he had going on he noticed Ramond walking over to their lunch table with Naomi with his armed over her shoulders.  The couple sat down across from the three boys, and just started to kiss.

(Naomi is an asian-american girl, 17, good personality, and good cook)

"Don't come over here if y'all are just gonna be doing..... whatever that is" Freddie said rolling his eyes, as he tried to continue reading his book and ignoring the smooching sounds that were coming from the right side of him. "Jealous?" Ramond asked trying to talk as Naomi was still kissing him. "Fuck you" Freddie muttered under his breath, when Ramond went back kissing his girlfriend. Freddie liked Naomi throughout most of sophomore year and all of junior year. He liked her so much that he would do anything to win her over, even let himself be manipulated and led on by her, if Naomi asked anything from him, he would do it, if she needed his answers, he would give them to her, even when it came down to money. If she asked him for a couple of bucks, he would always give it to her.

Naomi knew how much Freddie liked her. She knew how far he would go for her, she knew that she was his weakness. She even got so much out of him, his secrets, his love-life, and his life at home. It all went to hell when he tried asking her out one time, but she rejected him in front of half of the 11th grade. The story was spread around so much that Freddie went homeschooled until the story could blow over.

"Yo Freddie can I-" Naomi was about ask Freddie for something in a child-like voice, but she should've been smart enough to know he would say no.

"NO" Freddie said coldly, not even making eye contact with anyone at the table. Just focused on his book. "Damn", Elijah thought to himself. He never knew that Freddie could be so.....

"Oop- Ok" Naomi said letting out a nervous chuckle, while looking down at her phone, "Oh- Shit, I gotta go. See you later, love". "Wait- Where are you going?" Ramond asked holding her hand before she could stand up. "I promised I'd take care of something after my free period, nothing too serious" she said kissing the top of Ramond's head before getting up to leave the cafeteria. "So you..." Ramond said looking back at Elijah and pointing at him, "We're gonna start the project at my house, so I'ma need you to text your parents to let them know you'll be home late."

"Why can't we do it at my house?" Elijah asked with a confused look on his face. "We're doing it at my house" Ramond repeated. "Whatever", Elijah muttered under his breath.
