"You know, seeing this class of 2020 has been an honor." The principal preached in his purple gown. "I've been the principal to some of these kids since middle school and yeah I'm gonna miss them so much. Now before we get started,here's how I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna say the universities that the children will go to, now here we go."
The principal started calling students across the stage and giving out the diplomas. "Elijah Davis, Florida State University...Freddie Jackson, Rider University...Omar Kanimi, New York University...Ramond Lopez, Florida State University...Victor Reyes University of Miami , Miles Turner, University of Miami ,...Aaliyah Valentine, Princeton University" Veronica Sterling, UCLA.
"You did it!!" Lena cheered pulling Elijah in for a hug. "I'm so fucking proud of you!"
"Mom!" Elijah snarled trying to make sure anyone didn't hear her.
"She's so fucking proud of you!" Dallas mocked while Lena pinched his arm.
"You boys excited for college?" Jonathan asked patting Ramond's back.
"Yeah, I'm grateful for having four more years with him." Ramond smiled giving Elijah a kiss on the cheek.
They both went the beach house, along with their friends and had a surprise graduation party. These next couple of months were the months they needed to make the most of.
"Freddie, do you think that we're gonna still be together in college?" Aaliyah asked. "We're gonna be in the same state but different cities."
"Aaliyah don't worry about that, we'll make it work, I promise you." Freddie responded. "But I'm honestly surprised that Omar's getting into Columbia".
"Fuck you!" Omar called out to him flipping him off.
"I love you." Miles mumbled to Victor while making out with him.
"I love you too. I'm glad we can keep doing this for years."
"Teenagers! We'll be on our way, you guys can clean all this up." Mr. Valentine said following all the other adults outside.
"Are you guys ready for these last couple of months with eachother?" Victor asked while pickup up the plates.
"I guess so." Aaliyah sighed.
"Just after summer, the next time we'll get to see each other is like three months."
"Work those steps mama" Elijah chuckled to Aaliyah cleaning off the table.
"See you guys tomorrow?" Ramond asked the group.
"Yeah."
