CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: Light Brown Eyes

ok so i noticed in these chapters they haven't been in class as much so probably on the chapter after the next one we will see the characters in class and at school more 😭, and this will be the longest chapter probably

When Elijah was in the bleachers, it hit him. Him and Ramond had been dating for almost two week now, and some couples have already went out on their first week of dating, so why couldn't they? While sharing his sour patch kids with Ramond and Asia, he thought about a great way to approach the topic. He tapped Ramond on the shoulder and just looked at his curly black hair, and light brown eyes. Those light brown eyes.

"¿Te gustaría tener una cita conmigo esta noche?" Elijah grinned placing his hand on Ramond's black jeans.

"I would love to go on a date with you tonight" Ramond said as he laid his head on Elijah's shoulders. This made Elijah blush a little bit, while being laid on, he decided to give his purple sweater and wrap it around Ramond. He heard Asia and Dallas go aww behind him, he rolled his eyes and just laughed.

They watched the rest of the game and the other teams play until 4:15. The temperature was dropping a little bit and Ramond and Elijah needed to prepare for their first date.

Elijah threw on a navy blue polo shirt and some deep black jeans but too make it look classy, he had on some black dress shoes.

"You look nice" Lena said smiling while buttoning up his shirt for him.

"So...this date?" she queried, "where are you guys going to eat dinner at?"

"I think we're gonna eat at that Hibachi place that just opened up. Freddie told me that it's amazing, they even make the food in front of you" Elijah laughed.

"Money?" Lena asked in her command voice.

"Yes."

"Phone on?"

"Yes".

"Mk".

Jonathan walked into the room while Lena was rubbing Elijah's shoulders, "you look handsome son", he chuckled, "I can't believe you're eighteen now, going on dates, and even starting college next year."

"Is this your first date?" Dallas teased him.

"I've been on dates before, it's just my first date with him". Elijah punched him playfully.

"Ok, well if you guys are gonna have sex..." Lena inputted.

"Just be careful, and be sure to use condoms" he said with her and groaned.

"Just nine more months, until I get your room" Asia-Lynn laughed while squeezing him tightly. "nine more months".

"You know that I'm gonna be here for the breaks right?"

"I know" she whispered, "I know".

Ramond was in the mirror wearing a red shirt that buttoned up from top to bottom and some light blue jeans and some burgundy dress shoes, he was buttoning it up  in the mirror in his parents bathroom as his older brother Jason came up behind him.

"Hermanito going on a date" Jason sighed. Their parents were on the phone, Jason gave the phone to Ramond.

"You look wonderful baby" Angelica smiled over the phone.

"She's not lying" Gabriel nodded his head, "I remember our first date. Your mami risked it all for me" he laughed as Angelica slapped his arm playfully.

"Have fun. All the fun you can have." Daniel winked.

Ramond groaned and got his letterman jacket. He was planning on giving it to Elijah to wear to school tomorrow and on the date of course.
