CHAPTER THIRTEEN: Confessions

Ramond came out wearing the same varsity jacket with the black checkerboard shirt on, while Daniel just looked like any other 16 year old. Just a purple nike shirt and black track pants, Elijah thought that it was a possibility that Daniel would try to make a pass at Asia-Lynn. It would be weird if they ever got together, Elijah thought, since he would be dating his older brother soon.
Wait NEVER! he meant, it would NOT be weird at all if they dated.

"Do not fuck up my car" Freddie demanded as Ramond and Daniel got into the car, "ok kids?"

All three of them nodded their heads in agreement trying to hold in their laughter.

"And please do not be loud" Aaliyah begged. "We don't need three more Omars".

The car ride was silent, luckily. There wasn't any music surprisingly just plain silence, Ramond tried to get some small-talk started but everyone was just on their phones or just sleeping. Ramond chose to just play on his phone.

"Get up" Daniel yawned lightly patting Ramond and Elijah's faces. Ramond jumped up and started to wipe the drool that was coming from the corner of his mouth with his sleeve. "Elijah, get up" Daniel whispered. Elijah jumped up and exited the car.

Freddie and Aaliyah went to making out a little bit when they left. Daniel gagged. Elijah didn't have his key so he had to text Dallas to open the door.

"Dallas!" Daniel grunted with excitement and opened his arms for a hug.

"Daniel!!" he grunted as he hugged him back.

Elijah and Ramond looked at each other confusingly.  "Y'all are 'best friends?" Ramond asked, air-quoting best friends.

Daniel rolled his eyes and laughed, "Yes" .

"So Ramond, I hear your birthday's coming up" Lena stroked up a conversation. Jonathan bought the family some Chinese food, the dinner wasn't as quiet as it was at Ramond's house but it was cool. Daniel threw in a few flirts towards Asia-Lynn but he stopped as soon as Jonathan gave him a cold glare.

"How old are you turning again?" Asia-Lynn asked, while taking a bite of her orange chicken.

"Nineteen" Ramond swallowed. He was a bit embarrassed of being a nineteen year old, and a senior IN HIGH SCHOOL. If he didn't get held back in kindergarten he would be in college already, but some good things were coming out of this. He just wished that he could stay eighteen for a little bit longer.

"Any big plans for your birthday?" Jonathan asked loudly.

"Mm-mm. Not big plans. Maybe just a little party." Elijah, Asia-Lynn, and Daniel looked gave him a confused glare. Ramond tried to change the subject so he wouldn't have to get into the plans for his birthday. "Elijah told me that y'all are getting remarried" he added while taking a sip of his soda.

"Do not get them started" Asia-Lynn whispered leaning towards Ramond at the table.

"Yeah, in spring" Lena gushed at Jonathan placing a kiss on his lips.

Daniel got up to put his plate in the sink and went to Asia-Lynn's room. Elijah went to help his parents do the dishes but they just told him to go into his room, they were like little kids shipping  characters from a movie or a tv show. They could sense some tension going on between him and Ramond, but Elijah wasn't ready for that conversation.

"So...did you tell Ramond about your feelings" Asia-Lynn asked with a little squeal in her voice making sure that Ramond didn't hear. Daniel and Dallas in her room.

"No" Elijah sighed.

"Oh, come here" she comforted him giving him a hug . She smelled good because she just got out of the shower, her hair was a bit wet and some of the back of her shirt was wet from her hair still dripping. She was wearing an old pink shirt, and some some blue leggings. "He probably already knows" she said in a sing-song voice.

"I'll get there eventually" he told her and himself as she let him go. When he was about to go in his room, he heard squealing. Fuck it.

"Hi kid" Elijah greeted Ramond as he walked into his room. Ramond was on his bed playing 'Red Dead Redemption 2' .
'Ramond looks so hot' Elijah thought. He was wearing a black tank top, and some white basketball shorts, especially looking at his muscles. His abs were showing a little through his shirt.

"You can play after I die" Ramond said. He caught Elijah staring at him for a couple of seconds, "...if you want". He went up to Elijah to snap in his face.

"Hm?" Elijah felt Ramond's breath on his forehead, he didn't know what to do except just stand there. He even felt himself getting hard. Did he really like Ramond this much? Was Ramond going to kiss him?  The main question he was thinking was he going to finish the kiss? The answer was no.

"Are you ok?" Ramond asked as he had both of his hands on Elijah's face. Now he was the one getting hard. "Um, I was just trying to check your temperature, just..seeing if you were ok" he blushed as he was walking back to the bed.

"I might go to sleep" Ramond said turning on Netflix.

Is he trying to....? 
"You can sleep in the bed at the bottom" Elijah offered. Ramond shrugged his shoulders and got under the covers, looking over his head.

A couple of minutes passed and Ramond fell asleep, the show on TV probably didn't keep him interested. Maybe Elijah had a chance to pour his feelings out with nobody around.

"Ok, Ramond so, when you asked to kiss me I got confused, but I just hope that your feelings are real because I like you a lot ,Ramond Lopez, like so much, that I don't know if I could live my life without you in it anymore. Goodnight".
