Chapter SIX: By Your Side

Ramond texted Naomi to come over. Luckily she accepted. He had the condoms ready ande everything. It's not the first time he done it with her, and not the first time they done it at his house.

Naomi arrived 15 minutes after the text.
"Hey baby" Naomi said flirtatiously.
"Hey" Ramond replied in a deep seductive voice. Naomi came in the door and pressed her lips against Ramond's. She closed the door behind her and jumped into Ramond's arms.

Ramond carried her into his room and put her on her bed, and took off his shirt. He took off her pants and her underwear and got on his knees and started eating her out. Naomi couldn't help but let out a moan and a lazy smile. She grabbed his face and started kissing him again. She lifted her arms up and let Ramond take off her shirt. Before he pushed her on her back he took off her bra. He was kissing her from her lips all the way to the bottom of her stomach until Naomi heard her phone ping. "Hold on" she gasped trying to catch her breath.
"I gotta go".
"Where ya goin'" Ramond asked grabbing her hand and letting out a smile.
"Just gotta take care of something at home". Naomi got up and put all her clothes back on and left out of the door.

There he was, just sitting at the end of his bed shirtless, sad that he wasn't able to use the condoms, sad that his girlfriend left during sex, and sad that he was all alone in the house. ON A SATURDAY. He texted Elijah see if he wanted to spend the night. And Elijah agreed. He needed someone and at the moment he remembered that Elijah was always by his side when they were kids.

Elijah packed some clothes in a black nike sack and left the house. His parents agreed he just had to come home Monday. He got into his red cadillac and put in the address to Ramond's house on Waze. It was only 7 minutes away from his house. This would be just like old times, Elijah taught to himself. He got his bestfriend back, and the memories kept coming back.

It was 12:07 a.m.

Ramond was laying on his bed still without a shirt on just trying to figure out a rubics cube until he heard the doorbell ring. He put on a random orange shirt because he couldn't find the one he had on after having "sex" with Naomi. He walked down the hall and opened the door. He saw Elijah just in a burgundy Adidas sweater and some black adidas pants and some red slippers. "You don't match" Ramond joked.

"Whatever" Elijah laughed. Elijah walked in and followed Ramond into his room. He found some games for the XBOX One. His favorite game Call of Duty: Advanced Warafare.
"When do you have to go home?" Ramond asked innocently. "Monday" Elijah replied while he was putting the disc in the XBOX. "Why'd you want me over here?"

"My family is still out helping Jason move, and I got lonely." He trailed off.
"Is that it?" Elijah asked curiously. "...And it was because I wanted to apologize to you."
When Elijah heard this, his face got hot, and started to sweat a little bit. "O-Oh" he mumbled with a little crack in his voice.

"What I did to you in the 8th grade was fucked up. And I promise now, if we are bestfriends again then I just wanna say that popularity won't get to my head. Never again"
Elijah just sat there, tears filled his eyes. "It's ok", his voice got shaky, "you wanna play too?"
Ramond smiled and agreed.

They played for about 45 minutes until the rest of Ramond's family got home. They stopped for pizza because they didn't feel like cooking after hours of helping Jason move.

"Mijo, we're home". Angelica announced. Elijah came out the room, then Ramond. "Hey Ramond" Daniel said, while putting the pizza down on the table.

"I got kind of lonely, so I asked him to come spend the night" Ramond said innocently, "is that ok?"
"Just like old times" Gabriel smiled as he was getting the plates and setting them on the table. They all grabbed their seats at the table and said grace.

Angelica and Gabriel sat on the opposite ends of the table. Ramond sat in the middle of Elijah and Daniel. Elijah was on the left side, and Daniel was on the right. The three of them were just talking and laughing, and even having a little footsies game under the table with eachother. Daniel got full and headed off to his room first. Then it was Gabriel, then Angelica* followed behind him. That left, Elijah and Ramond at the table. 

"You wanna go back in the room?" Ramond asked, "so we can finish our game?" 
"Actually I might go to bed" Elijah yawned.
"Oh".
"But can I change real quick though?"
"Y-yea" Ramond said. They both went into his room. Elijah went to go find his sack that was under Ramond's desk. He found a black Batman shirt and some light grey basketball shorts to sleep in.

When Elijah was getting changed, Ramond was watching. He was watching Elijah take his shirt off and just staring at his back, the muscled, hard back. Ramond had trouble getting changed at his own time because he was too busy staring at him. Elijah turned around as he was pulling down his shirt and walking towards the door. Luckily he didn't catch Ramond staring, or maybe he did but isn't saying anything.

Ramond stopped Elijah by jokingly giving him a light punch in the stomach. He felt Elijah's abs. ABS?! Ramond thought to himself, Elijah Alexander  Davis has ABS?! Now his face got hot. Did he actually want to get a glimpse of his bestfriend's abs? Would he like his abs? Elijah got a blanket and a pillow and layer down on the couch that faced the TV. "You can sleep in my room" Ramond suggested. "We have a blow up mattress. I can blow it up, if that's ok with you".
Elijah squinted his eyes but agreed.

The mattress finally blew up and Ramond moved it on the left side of his bed. Elijah got everything and put it on the mattress and got comfortable. "Goodnight Ramond" Elijah quietly mumbled.
Ramond felt something rush through him. He tried to not smile but couldn't help it. "Goodnight".
