CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE: Many School Dances As We Want

It was Senior Prom. Ramond cut the sides of his curly hair a little bit and put on white dress shirt without a tie with a burgundy blazer over it. He was a little bit nervous, and not about just picking up Elijah, he was nervous about graduation coming up in two days. He got his acceptance letter in the mail a couple of days ago which was good. There he was, outside of Elijah's house waiting for him to come out. He had more roses than the ones on his first date and thought about going up to the door but he really wanted to be surprised.

Elijah came out with a purple dress shirt with a black tie and no blazer. He looked so hot.

"I-I bought this for you." Ramond said nervously with the roses shaking in his hand.

"You look beautiful." Elijah complimented giving Ramond a kiss until they eventually started making out.

They made out for about two minutes until they pulled out and started driving to the school. They were just flirting the whole time and explaining how nervous they were for graduation. After thirty minutes they were already there. Freddie and Omar coordinated the dance so that's how everyone knew the dance was going to be good. Ramond opened the door for Elijah and gave him a kiss.

There were multiple couples who walked in along with Ramond and Elijah, the inside was just flashing lights of pink, purple, blue and green. It was a bit like Euphoria.

"Nice dance!" Elijah complimented Freddie dapping him up. He was wearing a black suit and tie with some black dress pants and shoes.

"Thanks. I was supposed to be on DJ duty but I begged the principal to let me do at least one slow dance with Aaliyah." Freddie replied.

Elijah and Ramond went to dance with some of the football team. Landon got kicked out for drinking, and probably fucked up his chances of getting into college as well. They danced for hours until Freddie, Aaliyah, Miles and Victor, and Omar went to their table and made a toast.

"To being fucking done with high school." Aaliyah proposed raising her punch up.

"That was beautiful baby." Freddie complimented giving her a kiss.

"To being fucking done with high school." The group said in unison.

"I just can't...get over the fact that we won't be able to see each other for 4 years." Victor looked down to hide the tears in his eyes.

"Victor, you know that we'll get to come home on the breaks. If anything we won't see each other until Thanksgiving". Omar laughed. "But I know what you're trying to say. I'll miss you guys."

"At least we still have another three months together." Aaliyah squealed.

The slow dance song came on and everybody got with their lovers.

Ramond had his hands placed on Elijah's shoulders and Elijah's hands on his waist.

"I'm gonna miss everything here". Ramond sighed looking around.

"Why? Because you were the fucking king of this school?" Elijah snorted.

"That and I'm gonna miss some of the teachers and the school dances here. I'm gonna miss the fucking dance committee, they were fun to make fun of."

"Well, luckily we can have as many school dances as we want together in a couple of months." Elijah smiled.

"Wait? You got into Florida State?" Ramond asked whispering.

"Yeah". Elijah squealed before Ramond kissed him.

"I love you so much."
