Chapter 22- Girls' Weekend

Kailyn's P.O.V

Maddie and I finish dancing the duet for at least the 5th time, this time, without interruptions.

"That was absolutely breathe taking, don't you think, Gianna?" Abby asks her, wiping away a few tears that had fallen.

"It was. It really was. Great job, girls." Gianna claps as we stand up from our ending position.

"Thank you." Maddie and I both say in unison.

"Tomorrow is competition. I'm going to tell you both the truth. I have no doubt that duet is going to win. You both are amazing dancers." Abby says and Gianna nods along.

"Thank you." Maddie and I say in unison, again.

"Do you both like it?" Gianna asks.

"I absolutely love it." I answer.

Maddie nods along with me, "Same."

"Good. You both are dismissed." Abby says.

"Thank you!" I call behind my shoulder as we leave.

"You're welcome." Gianna answers back.

It's 7:30 and I've been dancing since 1:30 today, seeing as my school dismissed me early. They let me do that sometimes, seeing as I'm on a TV show and my guardians are international pop stars.

Tonight is Kendall's sleep over, so Kendall is carrying me home with her, seeing as I already packed my clothes and other stuff. The other girls are going home to pack their stuff and come to the Vertes' Residence after. Then, Kendall's mom will carry us all to competition tomorrow.

Sounds fun right?

I'm terrified.

Why?

Because I'm afraid Maddie will push me off Kendall's balcony or something.

Stupid, right?

I know.

Kailyn's P.O.V

"Welcome to my humble abode!" Kendall throws open her front door and yells into the large house. Her mom and I giggle behind her.

"Kendall, you'll destroy the door if you keep doing that." Her mother scolds, still chuckling.

"Mom, you're ruining all my fun." Kendall whines as we all enter the house.

"Whatever," Her mom rolls her eyes, "Go put your stuff in your room, then change out of those of sweaty dance clothes, we're going to go buy snacks for tonight."

"Kay!" Kendall chirps. I follow behind her and she shows me some of the rooms.

"Down there is the basement. We're all gonna be sleeping down there." She points to a stairs that leads downwards.

"There are no rats or spiders down there, right?"

She laughs, "No, it's perfectly clean down there. It's where I keep my old dance costumes, otherwise known as my children."

"Oh okay. Good."

She continues to show me more rooms. We get to her parent's room.

"My Dad's out on a business trip, and my mom will probably be in here after everyone's here, so we'll basically have the house to ourselves."
