Kailyn's P.O.V
It's been a week now and Niall and I haven't spoken since before the award show. He's always on dates with Sam. He hasn't come to ask me what I think about her, if I like her, or even if I'm okay with him dating someone. He comes downstairs, he eats, and then he leaves.
I woke up, took a shower, and ran downstairs. Callbacks should be today and I want to be there when one of the boys get the phone call.
"If they get the phone call." My conscience reminds me. Stupid conscience.
"Hey, did any of you guys get the phone call from Ms. Abby?" I asked the four boys in the living room. Louis was in the kitchen making breakfast. Niall was on his phone texting and smiling. He must be texting Sam. The rest were watching the television.
"Well, good morning to you too." Zayn replied.
"Yeah, yeah, we don't have time for good mornings!" I reprimanded him.
"Well. No, no one got a phone call from Abby." Zayn grumbled, folding his arms over his chest.
"But don't worry, we'll get the call soon, I'm sure you were amazing." Liam smiled at me.
"Don't you dare lie to me Liam! If I was amazing they would've called already!" I shouted at him.
"Uh, okay?" Liam said, unsure.
"I'm sorry, I'm just a bit-"
"It's okay, I understand." He waved it off.
I ran into the kitchen to find Louis making pancakes and talking on the phone.
"Yeah, uh-huh, Ok... yeah, I'll tell her, Ok, yeah, you too, bye." Louis ended his phone call.
"Well, what did she say?" I asked Louis eagerly.
"Oh, she told me to tell Eleanor to call her for something important."
"What?" I asked, confused.
"It was Eleanor's mom. She wanted me to tell El to call her if she stops by; she's not answering her phone." Louis explained.
"Seriously?" I groaned.
"Oh, you thought it was Abby?" He laughed.
"Don't laugh, it isn't funny," I groaned again. "I really wanted to get in. Ms. Abby makes dance legends; I wanna be a dance legend." I told him.
"Stop worrying, you'll get in. Now, my pancakes are getting cold, and I slaved over this stove for an hour making these bad boys so let's eat!" He shouted, grabbing the plate of pancakes and running to the dining room. I slowly followed.
During breakfast, Harry kept glancing from Niall to me. Niall was too preoccupied in his food and his phone to notice, laughing at every message he received. Suddenly, Niall got a phone call.
"Hello, yes may I ask who is speaking. Oh ok, hold on, let me put you on speaker." Niall removed the phone from his ear and pressed a few buttons.
"Hello, yes please continue." He said. Then, I heard the raspy voice that I recognized too easily.
"Good morning, this is Abby Lee Miller from Abby Lee Dance Company and I'm calling to congratulate Kailyn Tomlinson for making it to callbacks." she said.
"Oh my God, thank you so much!" I shouted happily, shooting out of my chair and running around the dinner table.
"Well it sounds like you're coming, I'll be expecting you at 3:30," she replied "Goodbye!"
"We'll be there, goodbye!" Niall called. Without thinking, I ran over to Niall and grabbed his waist from behind and hugged him. When I opened my eyes, I saw Harry smiling at the sight before him.
