I added a beautiful fantasy song...
If you wish you could listen to the song and it would help you immerse into the story...
Recommended earphones...The viens on my fingertips made a connection with the vast networks of the Aran's mind.
The tunnels were complex and unique. The connections stretched far and wide to a common goal, Survival.
At certain points, when I tried going through and searching for the past memory of the war, I felt a spark of electricity of dread and wrath. My entire conscious was linked with Faerunduil's. As I tried reaching to one memory, I would feel a constant tug from the memory. That memories must be the Aran's personal or something he does not want to revisit.
Sometimes certain memories and incidents would rush to my face. Those might be the accomplishments to the Aran's, something he would be proud to show off.
At some points I felt pain inside me. Like I could cry out, because there is no one around. But the hazy memories weren't mine.
I saw Little Faerunduil running about with his brothers.
Writing Elvish is hard so I'll just translate it all to eng.
"Alaishe, you are deceiving me yet again. You are not supposed to hit the sword to my knee" cried Faerunduil balancing his play sword.
"Ah Faerunduil...are you afraid that I might overpower you, little brother?" said his big brother Alaish.
"Leave the poor weak boy be. He can't even hold the sword properly rather overpower you brother" said his other brother mocking him.
"True Calahi. You must atleast learn to- argh!!!" cried Alaish, because Faeranduil had clashed his sword so powerfully to his brother's that it shattered to a thousand pieces. A strong wind blew. The ground quacked. His brothers lost balance but Faeranduil stood on ground with majesty unknown.
His brothers looked at him open mouthed.
Faeranduil extended his hands to his brothers and pulled them up.
They looked at them stunned.
'Brother- ho- I- what did you do?' asked Calahi eyes wide in surprise and fright.
'I do not know' replied Faeranduil looking at Alaish's sword which was shattered to thousand pieces.
I came to realise the reason why Faerunduil became king. He was strong even before he had mastered wielding a sword.Suddenly the scene around me began to dissolve and turn. I tried maintaining my ground but to avail I slipped and fell into an other memory.
I landed in a beautiful castle. The same castle of the Elven king I was living before but it was different. Something about it made me have tingles everywhere.
The splendour, the unusual Vibe of heavenly beauty.
As I was turning around taking in the scenery, a child ran into me and went right through me.
I turned to look at the kid who didn't seem to realise my presence. I looked at him carefully and thought "This must be baby Faerunduil".
And suddenly someone else ran through me completely oblivious of my presence. I turned to look at the person and saw an elven woman in white and gold with shimmering white hair. She went near the boy and picked him up. Both of their laughs echoing the memory very loudly, because Faeranduil must be treasuring the memory.
I carefully checked the woman and to my surprise I realised it was Lady Lavinia... Then this kid must be... Daemeon.
I realised Faerunduil must here somewhere as it was his memory. He wasn't anywhere close.
I was confused and then I saw a dove fly towards little Daemeon and giving him a bud rose. He took it and the bud blossomed into a Ruby red beauty.
Daemeon giggled and looked up with his mother and they waved to the sky.
I looked up confused and saw a brilliant light from the upper balcony. Faeranduil was standing there, watching his beloved wife and son.
His smile warmer than ever seen before. I felt goosebumps.
Then once more the memory dissolved but this time it was dark.
I try to navigate my way through the blinding darkness. And then I hear thousands of people screaming. Of women, men, children and beasts.
The memory began flooding with images.
I watched as a huge war was erupting. Millions of orcs on the left.
Men, elves and dwarves on the right.
The air was cold and I heard a battlecry and the war had begun.
But surprisingly the memory dissolved and I was thrown to another. But it was the aftermath of the war.The Elves, men and dwarves had won aganist the orcs. But none to calmly. Calm and peace was never an option.
I was standing admist the dead bodies of many warriors. They were decapitated and bloodied. All dignity strewn across the wasted lands.
Many lone soldiers here and there searching for their mates.
Women and children trying to find their husbands and fathers. After the war comes peace. But the war had created a hole in the hearts of the people.
Dwarves all stand in a group praying and weeping for their lost ones.
And all of a sudden there was a ear splitting scream.
None to many turned to see who it was because everyone were mourning, but when they realised from whom the cries came from and the reason... All rushed towards it.
The Elves all ran towards the noice and bowed and cried in despair.
I walked towards them. Careful not to step on the bodies.
And saw the elven king of Merobolis holding a person in a man's battle uniform. His pure white hair all messed up inside the helmet.
I saw Daemeon walking towards his father, shaking. He kneeled and pulled the helmet from the elve's head and both I and Daemeon gasped.
It was Lady Lavinia. She had died.
I knew she was reborn when I was born but still I felt the heaviness of the air.
They just lost a valuable treasure of power, of strength, of magnificence, of maternal love...
No one was ready for that.
Faerunduil carried her with the other people tending for the injured.
Daemeon guided by Airen. Luthiann was crying and Daemeon held her aganist him.
The memory dissolved... All portals of the links were closed.
I was back to my conscious. My eyes still closed. Mine and Faeranduil's forehead touching.
I refused to open my eyes to face the realities.
But I felt someone wiping my teary face... And then I opened my eyes to see Faeranduil looking at me with the same love he had for his family.
'Now you understand' he said in a calm graceful tone. And kissing me on my nose.
'Now I understand' I said back holding my tears...
