soulmates.

Soulmates. A sacred word in this world. In this world, everyone is born with a soulmate. Nobody is born to be alone and Aphrodite, the goddess of love, made sure of that.

Aphrodite had always pitied humans because of how miserable they all appeared to be. She watched them for years on end and the human word never failed to make her feel down. She watched people live a meaningless life which resulted in many suicides and even more murderers. She decided to help humans live happier lives.

Without anybody's authority, Aphrodite began to give humans soulmates. She began to bond souls together to give humans a reason to live. She wanted humans to live happier lives and that they did.

Everyone was born connected to someone. A sentence would appear on a person's wrist. This sentence was the first words your soulmate would say to you. They appeared on a person's wrists when their soulmate was born and if someone was born with their tattoo, it meant their soulmate had already been born.

Aphrodite dedicated the rest of her life to bond souls and watch their romance develop. She felt much happier watching love blossom and happy endings come to all. Although, there were few failed stories of soulmates here and there that upset her dearly.

She did this for a thousand years, she watched humans find their soulmates and fall in love. After a thousand years of waiting, the strongest era had arrived. This era was going to have some of the strongest soulmate bonds in human history and one of these bonds would surpass any and every love story that had ever existed.
