Future plans

Josh POV

We start talking about the future and of course we had to discuss my new album and Colleens TV deal. Back before we left home in LA, Colleen got offered a Tv show deal but it would mean she would not be in LA alot but more so in New York where the production company was. It was a big step and she wasn't even sure she wanted it or wanted to wait til maybe something more LA local would come her way. It was what she always dreamed of. She had gone on shows here and there and finally made it to the big time. Years and years of hard work, no sleep and sacrifice. I was so proud of her but of course we were torn on what to do. Do we move? Stay in LA and Colleen would fly in and out as much as possible for at least 6 months? We sat there with our drinks and talked about all the possible scenarios and the pros and cons. I think we decided that Colleen would take the oppurtunity after we got back home and sign the contract. It was only for 6 months. We had been apart longer before but that was when we weren't married and we didn't have kids. Just then someone recognized us and asked for a picture. After the fan left I said to Colleen "That is going to become way more common once you are on prime tv. We need to keep that in mind and may need to look into security eventually. I don't want anything to happen to you babe" I said.

Colleen POV

We have decided I will take the job in New York. This was my dream. I needed to try. As Josh started discussing security I was thinking it was a little much. A little to early to start worrying about crazed fans taking it a step too far. I have never had a problem until now so it should be no different, "Josh you need to complete your record album as well. I want you to finish it and release it." I say. He nods. "No I mean it" I say. "That way when I am away I can listen to you sing to me so I won't miss you that much" I say and start to cry. "I am so proud of you Josh. You always worried about being a failure in everything and anything in your life and you haven't failed anyone or anything" I say rubbing his cheek. "I will finish the album babe. I cannot wait to release it. That is a dream of mine" he says.

We start to walk along a more public beach and it completely dark only lit with tiki lights. We can hear the waves but barely see the water. WE hold hands and share a kiss here and there as we make our way back to the car to go back to our house. Such a wonderful first day.
