Finally home

Josh POV

We finally land in LA and Rachel was brave enough to pick us up with Lilly and Noah. Matt stayed home with Paige. I see our two kids running towards us yelling "mommy!!!! ,Daddy!!!!" and it is melting my heart. I look at Colleen and she is crying and crouches down to pick them up. We both hug Rachel and thank her for allowing us to fly to my sisters bedside. "No problem. I am glad she is better" she says. We all walk back to the car and the kids are talking our ears off. We missed them so much. We get to the car and make the journey home. We walk in and Matt is holding Kate and Paige and Olivia is by his feet. Rachel walks over to him and kisses him and asks how the kids were. He smiles and says no problem. I bring Colleen and my bag upstairs and start loading the washing machine and come back downstairs. Colleen and Rachel are talking about Colleens contract with the TV deal and discussing details. "Josh if you need any help with the kids or whatever let me know" she says. "Thanks I will take you up on that" I say.

**a few weeks later***

Colleen POV

Josh is being so supportive as I pack for my trip to New York. I am staying with my friend John. I will try and fly back here and there but I know it will not be as much as he wants but I don't mention it. It will just upset him. I bring one suitcase down and Josh brings down another for me. He is really quiet today. He is missing me before I even leave. Rachel is driving me to the airport. I won't see him for at least the first two weeks. We are both sad but I am super excited. I have worked hard for this all my adult life. I just wish it came before I had a family. Josh hugs me and kisses my neck and I hug him back. "I will be home soon" I say and kiss his neck back. "Please be careful Colleen. I love you" he says. "I love you too" I say back to him and we basically have a makeout session in the hallway. I pull away and kiss him quick and make my way out to Rachel who is honking the horn. "You guys were all over each other just now weren't ya?" she says laughing. "Yes we were" I say laughing. "I am gonna miss my husband" I say and kiss Josh once again before getting into the car. I close the door and watch Josh as we back out of the driveway. He is miserable already. I roll down the window and tell him I will call him when I land. He nods and waves. My Snoopy-I love his heart.
