Longest days

Josh POV

I walk Teresa into the family room and introduce her as my music manager to the guys. We all sit around and drink and have a great time until about midnight when its time to call it a night. All the guys leave and Teresa is the last one here. "So why is your wife away in New York?" she asks "She is writing for her own TV series" I say. "Wow she sounds very successful and...busy" she says. "Yes she has worked for years to get to where she is now. Super proud of her" I say. "How long is she away?" she asks. "6 months in total but she might be back next weekend for a quick visit" I say smiling. "Thats a long time for a guy like you to be alone. Are you lonely?" she asks. "No I am good. We always make time for each other" I say smiling again. Teresa comes walking over to me and says "Well if you ever get really lonely then call me" and she tries to kiss me. "UHHH...thanks but I would never do that to Colleen" I say. I would never cheat on her. With that information she says good night without trying anything else and walks out the door. I close the door and think, she totally just hit on me and start laughing. I miss Colleen. I will call her tomorrow.

Colleen POV

It was Sunday afternoon and I had kept busy working all weekend on my own only stopping to eat and sleep because I was crushed that Josh was so mad at me. I refused to call him back and cave. My phone rang and it was him. My heart beat jumped and I answered him on speaker. "hi" I say "Hi" Josh says. "What are you doing?" he asks. "Working, you?" I reply. "I just came in from the pool with the kids and now they are eating lunch, say hi to mommy guys" he says and I hear all 3 of them yelling to me. "Hi babies!!!" I joyfully yell through the phone. My heart is melting. "I am taking you off speaker phone Colleen" he says and then he continues "I am sorry I was so upset with you Friday but it upset me you didn't text or anything through the week to say hello." "Josh I barely have to time to go to the bathroom babe honestly but I was so excited to finally talk with you and share what I have been  doing with you and you didn't care" I say. "I always care I was just mad" he says. "I was being stupid, sorry hun" he says. I smile and wish I could kiss him. We continue talking about my work and his album for the next 20 minutes and he sends me over the draft of his few songs he recorded. I miss my man. "Josh these sound amazing" I will listen to them every night. "When are coming home babe?" he asks. "Not sure will let you know this week ok?" I say. "Okay please do. I miss you" he says and he sounds sad. "I miss you too in everyway" I reply. "babe you can't say that to me as I will jump on the next flight" he says and starts laughing. I am laughing too. "love you babe" I say. "Love you more" he says and we hang up. I can now breathe and enjoy the rest of the week knowing Josh and I are good.
