DEREK POV

I texted Stiles to hang out today if he didn't have any plans and he immediately accepted my offer, I cracked a smile as soon as I saw the text from Stiles... The bright yet soft expression I had on my face, though, was gone in an instant as soon I saw someone calling me... It was Paige, calling me out of the blue, telling me she wanted to hang out in a few hours and that she wanted us to have some time together, I told her that I already had plans with Stiles but she then started complaining about how I don't make time for her and how she should be a priority, trying to guilt trip me into canceling my plans with Stiles. I told her to come to my house later and I hanged up.

Paige was now at the entrance of the house, she let's herself in and walks through the door to see me sitting on a chair in the living room as I was waiting for Stiles' arrival which would be soon "So? How are you? What are you up to?" Paige asked cheerfully in a playful tone, I was getting mentally prepared to tell her I didn't cancel with Stiles...

"Waiting for for Stiles to come here." I say looking at the time on my phone, trying to avoid any eye contact as I didn't want to meet her angry eyes

"What do you mean? You didn't cancel?" she says her tone switching from playful to angry, she thought I canceled my plans for her but I just wanted to hang out with both.

"Paige I didn't cancel because I already had plans with Stiles, therefore I did something to hang out with both of you. Is it that bad?" I complain to Paige

"Yes Derek, it is, because as your girlfriend I should be over somebody you just started hanging out with!" she yelled at me as I was just trying to peacefully watch TV waiting for Stiles, her reaction didn't really shock me because we've been over this multiple times but she just doesn't seem to get it, Stiles is a part of the pack, meaning he is the same with everyone, Paige isn't my mate or something, she is overreacting over things that are nonexistent, she isn't over my family, she is a part of it and everyone is equal to me, Stiles, Scott, Allison, Paige and all of my friends

"Paige, you have to realise you're dating a werewolf for over 2 years, you should know by now I care about everyone in the pack equally! With no exceptions, not even you, not even my mom. I care about Stiles as much as I care about you or any other pack member, being my girlfriend doesn't make you special, you just get a different kind and amount of affection." I say trying to wake her up to reality because this time she got too far with the fights, she always had some attention issues but this is going now it's getting worse and I can't let this continue or it'll end with a break up

"Fine!" she screamed at me and started running towards the exit. I didn't stop her, I didn't have the energy to anymore. If she's gonna run away every time I hit her with reality she might as well stay away...

STILES POV

I was on my way to the Hale house when I heard Derek and Paige fighting, I was outside the door when I heard Paige scream and some loud footsteps of someone running at the door, I let myself in but I was stopped by Paige, who bumped on me, she fell back and I gave her a helping hand, helping her stand up I ask her "What's going on?" as Derek was in the living room, while me and Paige were in front of the door

"Me and Derek got in a fight..." she said, her eyes getting watery, she shifted her head facing the floor and covered her eyes

"Paige, everything is gonna be fine... Do you want to tell me what the fight was about?" I asked in a soft voice, filled with compassion... Trying to comfort the crying girl in front of me...
