People around stared at the impaled body of Straw-Hat Luffy
Some in shock, some in pain, some in pure agony, others in disgust, and a few in delight (*cough* AKAINU *cough*)
Garp stood up from beside Ace, he was completely livid
Someone had hurt his grandson, someone had killed his grandson
He was about to lunge at Aokiji who could barely stand at this point when Luffy's body twitched
Everyone at the battlefield stared in pure shock as Luffy stood up straight
"Ahhh, It's been a long time since I've felt someone stab me" said Luffy as he stretched his right arm out, hundreds of ice spikes still pierced through his body
"Lu-!" Ace managed to yell out
Others just stared in disbelief
"How...are you still...alive...?" Aokiji managed to slowly spurt out
"I'm not going to answer that question but, it takes a lot more than that to kill me" replied Luffy nonchalantly (haha, plot armor)
"Now then, I guess I should fix this mess, huh?" Luffy looked down at his bloodied self
Luffy took some air
"Gear.."He started "5th!" He screamed out
The people around him watched in fascination as Luffy's eyes started glowing a gold color and light started emanating from the young teen
His arm started growing back by the second and all of the punctures he had through his body were being regenerated and healed
By the time the light stopped emanating, his wounds were completely healed, arm regrown with no sign that it was ripped off in the first place
Everyone stared in complete disbelief
"H-how...w-what..." Aokiji could not form a full sentence at the moment, he was in too much shock
Luffy ignored the shocked stares he was getting and just stretched
Aokiji eventually gave into exhaustion and fell unconscious
Nobody noticed the admiral falling onto the ground
No one could even form words at the moment
They couldn't believe the scene that had just played out in front of their eyes
They were so in shock that the majority of them didn't notice the rubber teen disappearing from where he was previously standing
Luffy sprinted through the battlefield towards the execution stand
Ace was still too in shock to notice that his little brother had started moving again
Akainu eventually snapped out of his shocked state and immediately started screaming
"WHAT ARE YOU BUFFOONS DOING?! STRAW HAT IS MAKING HIS WAY THROUGH THE BATTLEFIELD!"
The effect was instantaneous and everyone turned to see Luffy running past Oars Jr.'s unconscious body
The marines immediately started moving
They tried their best to stop the straw-hatted teen but, of course, Luffy just avoided all of the attacks that were thrown at him
By this time, the fight resumed for the rest of the Whitebeard pirates and marines on the battlefield as well
This time, Whitebeard himself also joined the fight to support his many sons
Luffy sprinted towards Ace with determination in his eyes
He was going to save Ace, no matter the cost
It seemed as if nothing could stop the rubber boy
Attacks were thrown at him non stop, but none of them managed to inflict any damage on the young teen
Eventually, Akainu finally snapped and got tired of watching the marines lose so easily to a mere rookie pirate
He darted to Luffy
When he got close enough, he launched an attack
"Inugami Guren!"
A wave of magma shaped like a fanged doghead launched at Luffy at an incredible speed
Luffy sensed the attack and jumped out of the way at just the last second
The magma attack proceeded to injure and probably kill some marines that were near him
He turned around to see Akainu bolting toward him
Luffy felt rage build up in his stomach
He glared at Akainu
'He could have retracted the magma as to not hurt his nakama!' he thought
Even though Luffy did not particularly like marines, he did in fact hate people who don't care for their comrades
Luffy swayed sideways barely avoiding the flaming hot fist that came his way
A few marines launched at him again
Luffy sighed and looked down, he had enough of this
The moment Luffy looked up again
The battlefield froze
The fire on the battlefield extinguished
The smoke stopped
The people froze, unable to move even a finger
The sound of sandals clicking against the frozen floor was heard throughout the entire battleground
A hat shadowed the eyes of the Straw hat pirate's captain
He calmly walked on the frozen ocean
Luffy looked up,
In the blink of an eye,
More than half of the people on Marineford collapsed
