Info - I'm not changing how the straw hats meet or their past since I kinda want to keep their past as is. Nothing changed with the way they met, Luffy just pretended to be really weak.
Everything went like it originally did
Sabo's 'death' still happens but of course Luffy already knew he was still alive.

The straw hat pirates finally arrive at Alabasta with princess Vivi.
"FOOD" screamed out Luffy before running off into the desert
"LUFFY WAIT!" screamed out Ussop
"This shitty captain" cursed Sanji under his breath
"Let's just go, we'll find him later" said Zoro jumping off the ship

Luffy was not looking for food for once, he was looking for a certain older brother of his.
The moment he saw the restaurant he was looking for he sprinted towards a certain Whitebeard pirate coming out of the restaurant.
"ACE!" screamed out Luffy tackling his older brother
"Luffy!" said Ace hugging Luffy back and getting up
"I was looking for you lil bro!" said Ace Luffy just stayed silent and hugged his brother tighter
"You okay?" asked Ace
"Yep!" said Luffy finally letting go of his brother "Let's go! I want to show you my crew!"
Ace just grined and followed his brother happily.

Back at the Going Merry
"Luffy you idiot!"screamed out Nami "Don't run off like that"
"Sorry sorry" apologized Luffy "But I have to introduce you guys to someone!"
"Huh? who?" asked Zoro
"Ace!" screamed out Luffy and figure suddenly appeared on the railing
"Yo!" said Ace
"This is my older brother, Ace!" said Luffy
The crew went silent for a moment
"YOUR BROTHER IS A WHITEBEARD COMMANDER?!" screamed out Sanji
"Yep!" said Luffy happily while Ace just grinned happily
The crew just sighed and introduced themselves.

At night
"Hey Ace?" said Luffy
"What's up?" said Ace
"Can I talk to you alone?" asked Luffy
"Sure" They walked to a more private space
"So, What's up Lu?" asked Ace "You look tense"
"Can you stop chasing Blackbeard?" asked Luffy very bluntly
"Wha-" Ace looked shocked for a moment before saying "No can do lil bro, he's a traitor" Ace gritted his teeth
"I know but.." Luffy looked down
"How do you even know I was after Blackbeard Lu? I haven't told you anything" asked Ace curious
"That's for me to know and you to figure out" teased Luffy with a forced smile
"Wow" said Ace "You finally grew a brain for once"
"HEY! i've always been smart! I just don't act like it" Luffy pouted
"Sure you are Lu" teased Ace
"Whatever" Luffy pouted again before putting on a seiours expression "I won't stop you Ace but, if you feel like you are loosing to him, back away immedietly"
"You think I'm gonna loose?" Ace grinned "I'm fine Lu, I won't-"
"Back.out.immedietly" said Luffy strenly
"Alright alright I will" said Ace putting his hands up
"Oh and I'm going to talk to whitebeard tomorrow!" said Luffy before walking away
"WAIT WHAT?!" screamed out Ace comically.

The next day
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE GOING TO VISIT WHITEBEARD" screamed out Nami while Lufy was packing some sake
"I need to talk to him" said Luffy calmly
"What about Alabasta?!" said Nami
"I'll come back before sun set, you guys keep going without me, I will find you when I'm back" said Luffy
"Lu are you seriously going to visit pops?" asked Ace
"Yes" said Luffy "Like I said I need to talk to him"
"How are you even going to go to Whitebeard?!" asked Nami "You don't have a ship!"
"I have my ways" said Luffy before turning to Ace "Are you coming with me Ace?"
"I have to look for Blackbeard" Luffy twitched a bit when he heard the name "But I also can't leave you alone while you're looking for a yonko"
"Then it's settled" said Luffy tying the sake onto himself "I'll come back before sunset"
"You still haven't answered the question of how you are going to get there!" said Nami before Luffy jumped up in the air using Geppo
"Wha-!?" screamed out the whole crew + Ace
"Ace, grab onto my hand tight" said Luffy as Ace relunctanly grabbed his hand
Luffy went into second gear which freaked the living heavens out of everyone (I mean who wouldn't be, looking at a steaming man)
Luffy dissapeared with Ace in an instant.
