Luffy looked around again, windmillls everywere and houses scattered around a village.
He was in Dawn Island again! He stood up and saw a pirate ship at the dock, he imidietly recognised it as Shanks old ship, he then saw a bar not to far from where he was and walked to it.
He entered and was greeted by a red haired man with a straw hat he recognised, 'Shanks...' Luffy thought.
It has been 1 year since he last saw Shanks in the war of the greatest, the place where all of his Nakama, brother, allies and Shanks...died.
The red haired noticed the sad face Luffy was making, "You okay Anchor?" Shanks asked suprising Luffy before he replied with a typical D smile "Yeah!"
"What'cha thinking about kiddo" said Shanks handing him a cup of juice, "Nothing much" said Luffy taking the juice
"Pfft, is the little boy thinking like a grown up now?" asked Shanks trying to tease him
"What if I am?, at least it's better than teasing a little kid all day" said Luffy with a grin
Shanks looked at him suprised by the response when the rest of his crew started laughing their butts off when one of them screamed "Boss did you just get roasted by a kid?!" continuing to laugh
"Shut up" Shanks screamed at them jokingly
Suddenly a bunch of mountain bandits came barging in the bar asking for sake and beating Shanks down when he offered him a bottle (blah blah blah the anime interraction basically)
Luffy looked unsuprised as he already knew this interaction but still angry, he then acted like he did the last time it happened, screaming and calling Shanks a chicken and such.
He started walking out of the bar when Shanks grabbed his arm and streached it, everyone screamed and asked if Luffy had eaten the fruit inside the box.
"Yeah, it tasted gross" said Luffy calmly
"THAT WAS THE GOMU GOMU NO MI, A DEVIL FRUIT YOU IDIOT, YOU'RE A RUBBERMAN NOW!" Screamed Shanks just like last time.
"Nice" said Luffy calmly, Shanks suprised at how calm he seemed and stated the fact that he couldn't swim ever again.
Luffy got out of the bar and started looking for the bandits a little pissed
The bandit got Luffy and he just acted weak and waited for Shanks to come and save him like last time but this time he would make sure Shanks didn't loose his arm for him.
Things escalated like they did the last time and Luffy was thrown in the water again, He saw the sea king coming and just used the littlest amount of Haki
"Pull me up" Luffy demanded and the sea king just did ask Luffy told him and put him on his back before swimming to the shore and putting luffy down, Luffy thanked him and it just swam away.
Little did Luffy know Shanks saw the whole interaction from behind a house and just stood there dumb founded by what just happened.
'Did he just use Conquerer's Haki?' Shanks thought to himself still a little shooked by what he saw and felt.
Luffy didn't notice Shanks watching him and just walked away from the scene.

The Next Day
Shanks crew was leaving, Luffy of course went to see them off.
"Are you leaving?" Luffy asked
"Yep, we've still got adventures to go on!" Shanks replied
"I will also become a pirate!" Luffy announced
"I WILL HAVE A CREW BETTER THAN YOURS AND BECOME PIRATE KING!" screamed Luffy like last time
"Is that so? Then keep this safe for me" Shanks said as he placed his straw hat on Luffy's head "It's my treasure, so keep it safe for me! Return it to me once you've become a great pirate!" said Shanks
Tears started streaming down Luffy's face 'I will return the hat this time Shanks!' Luffy thought, in the last time line Shanks dies before Luffy could return the hat.
