I've been reading the comments from the previous chapter and I'm honestly quite surprised at your guesses, but unfortunately, none of you have guessed it right. Luffy's eyes widened impossibly
'How...' was all that came to his mind
"You aren't supposed to be here yet" Luffy spoke to no one in particular
"Fujitora"
A flaming meteor along with Admiral Fujitora were descending at an alarming velocity
Luffy tched
He wished future Zoro was here, he would be able to cut that meteor in the blink of an eye
But now was not the time to daydream about things that wouldn't happen
Luffy glanced around the battlefield and his eyes landed on Mihawk
More specifically, Mihawk's sword, Yoru
Luffy disappeared from where he was standing only to appear once again behind Mihawk
Mihawk turned spun around as soon as he felt a presence but it was already too late
He had heard someone whisper in his ear something along the lines of "lend this to me for a moment" and his favored sword had gone missing
Mihawk sighed as he knew exactly who took it and decided to just let it go and see how exactly the straw hat pirate was going to wield it
It wasn't an easy feat, after all, Yoru was one of the world's strongest swords, it wasn't going just to give in to any random person
People around watched in complete shock as Luffy suddenly appeared in the air with a sword
In less than a second, the meteor was struck in half
Mouth agape, everyone kept staring at Luffy
Fujitora unsheathed his sword to attack Luffy at full force
The two swords collided and a burst of energy and haki was thrust upon the battleground
Strong wind blew
The fighting continued and yells were heard again
Luffy and Fujitora continued clashing as they were falling down
They broke apart for a second once landing, before clashing again
Marines tried supporting the admiral by attacking Luffy from behind, but of course, miserably failed
Akainu watched from the sidelines as Luffy and Fujitora's swords collided once more
It was infuriating to him, Straw hat was a mere rookie
Yet, here he was, fighting admirals like it was a daily chore
Not once showing any signs of weakness
Akainu also despised those marines who could not even land a finger on the pirate scum
They were all useless in his eyes

The fighting continued
Luffy and Fujitora had clashed one last time and Fujitora finally fell down
Luffy sighed and swiftly turned around
He avoided the floor full of unconscious marines surrounding him
They had fainted sometime in the period of him fighting the admiral
As Luffy continued running, he started to question something
Why was Admiral Fujitora here?
From what he had been told in the previous timeline
Fujitora only became admiral after the 2-year separation
So, why was he here now?
Luffy was intrigued at this new mystery
Suddenly, he heard someone yell
He looked up at the platform
Someone had shouted
And two swords were suddenly approaching Ace's neck
