(We're so close to Marineford! Jesus, It feels like it's been so long since I started this story! I never thought that I'd get here. Anyways! onto the chapter!)

Luffy smiled as he looked off at the sky
"So, what are you going to do now?" he heard Rayleigh ask.
"They're right you know? you don't have the strength or power to invade Impel Down and much less participate in the war that will happen at Marineford" said Rayleigh.
Luffy chuckled a bit before turning around and facing Rayleigh
"You underestimate me too much old man," said Luffy.
Rayleigh raised an eyebrow at the statement
"You think you have the power to overthrow the marines and potentially get into a battle with the Whitebeard pirates?" Rayleigh continued with the Q&A.
"They're Ace's Nakama! why would I fight them?" Luffy exclaimed.
Rayleigh chuckled a bit
"Even if you don't intervene with the Whitebeard pirates, you are still going to fight the marines there and you will be stopped by the admirals" said Rayleigh.
"As I said before" Luffy began "You underestimate me too much"
Rayleigh started at Luffy closely
He looked like an average teen, with no special grabbing features except the scar below his eye.
Luffy looked right back at him, then he felt it.
A strong aura, so much stronger than anyone he has ever met before, stronger even, dare he say it, stronger than Roger's aura.
He could also now see his eyes very clearly. They looked so much older than the boy should be, they hide so much pain, so much knowledge, so much sadness, so much power.
Rayleigh didn't even notice he spaced out looking at Luffy's eyes and trying to figure out the mystery his eyes held until he felt a poke on his arm
"Old man?" Luffy asked "You okay?"
Rayleigh blinked a few times
"Yes, I'm fine" said Rayleigh "You sure are a mystery Monkey D. Luffy"
"Shishishi! I'm sure you'll find out about my mysteries soon enough Old man!" said Luffy as he started walking off.
"I wish you luck in rescuing your brother" said Rayleigh.

Luffy was on a stolen marine ship on the way to Impel Down.
Though he knew something, he knew Ace wasn't at Impel Down anymore, he knew his brother was already on a marine ship sailing to Marineford. So why was he still sailing towards Impel Down?
Simple
Jimbei was still in there, and he needed to rescue the former warlord and helmsman of the Straw Hat pirates.
As the prison came into view, he jumped off the ship and used Geppo to fly over.

It took some time but eventually, Luffy escaped Impel Down.
He ran around the prison for quite a bit and causing a ruckus in each level of the prison.
Right now he was on another ship he robbed along with some prisoners that escaped, some being, Ivankov, Crocodile, and of course Jimbei.
Luffy looked out at the sea, he could bearly see a spot up ahead that was Marineford
'Finally here huh?' thought Luffy
'You're not dying this time, Ace'
'Not this time, nor ever if I'm still alive'
'I'm not losing you again'
'I'm never going to lose you again' Luffy held back some tears, he could not cry right now.
'Wait for me, Ace!'
