"Shoot! Run!" Sabo screames out to Luffy and Ace and starts running.
"Why are we running from them?" said Luffy
"Those are the Bluejam pirates! Ace and I stole their treasure yesterday! They are gonna try and steal it back from us!"
Luffy suddenly stops running.
"What are you doing dumbass!? Keep running you idiot! do you want to get killed or something?!" screamed out Ace at Luffy
"I'm going to deal with them" said Luffy calmly in a strern tone
"Do you have a death wish?! Those are pirates!" said Ace angrily "You're just a kid! there is no way you can win against them!"
They all hear rustling from a bush behind them and some voices screaming out Sabo and Ace's name
Ace and Sabo quickly hide and Luffy just stays still "What are you doing?! go hide-"
before Ace could finish his sentence, the Bluejam pirates appeared and were already in front of Luffy.
"Hey brat! do you know someone named Ace?!" asked one of the pirates glaring at Luffy
"What if I say I do?" said Luffy in a bored tone
"Don't play games with me little brat! I can kill you right here and now!" said the pirate angrily
"As if you could kill me!" Luffy laughed "I'd honestly like to see you try and kill me!" Luffy teased more
"WHY YOU! STUPID BRAT DIE!" said the pirate swinging his sword towards Luffy
"He's gonna kill him!" said Sabo "Let's h-"
Luffy shatters the sword right before it hits him and swiftly moves to punch the three pirates in the gut knocking them out.
"W-what!?" screamed out Ace "H-how the hell did you knock them all out at once?!"
"Woah" said Sabo
"Ah! Ace, Sabo!" said Luffy happily jumping up and down like a little kid (well right now he is one but imma sush)
"How the heck.." said Ace before Luffy jumped into his arms for a hug, of course Ace immiedietly shoves him away
"I protected your treasure! Now I can be your friend right?!" said Luffy happily
"What?! No! just because you rpotected our treasure doesn't mean I'm your friend!" said Ace
"ehhhhh?! why not?" said Luffy a little sad
"Why do you want to become my friend so badly anyway?!" screamed out Ace
"Because, you're the only one I can be friends with! being alone is worst than anything!" said Luffy looking down with a shadow over his face
"What about your family.." asked Ace
"I only have grampa" said Luffy
"So, it isn't so bad when I'm here?" said Ace
"Yes!" replied Luffy
"It'd be bad if I wasn't here?"
"Yes"
Ace looks down
"You want me to live?"
"Of course I do!"
"Fine...I-I'll be your friend" said Ace looking away
"Really?!" asked Luffy excitetly while Sabo just looked suprised at Ace
"Yeah..." said Ace
"YAAAAAAAY" screamed out Luffy holding back tears

A few days later
"Hey, do you guys know that if we exchange cups of sake we can become brothers?" said Ace while pouring sake into three cups
"Brothers?Really?!" asked Sabo instead of Luffy
"Yeah! when we set out to be pirates we might be in a separate crew, but we will become brothers to always have a connection with each other!" said Ace
"So, from this moment on we are..." the three pick up the sake cups "BROTHERS!" said the three happily, Luffy with tears at the verge of falling

It was the middle of the night, the three brothers were sleeping calmly in their new treehouse.
"Ace!"
"I'm sorry Luffy, I'm going to break our promise"
"Thank you so much, FOR LOVING ME!"
Those were the last words heard before Luffy saw his brother laying in front of him, dead.
......
"I'm sorry that i'm leaving you in this cruel world Lu"
"NO SABO! YOU'RE OKAY! YOU'RE GOING TO LIVE! RIGHT?! YOU AREN'T GOING TO LEAVE ME!?"
"I'm sorry Luffy, I love you"
There it was again,
Luffy saw his brother in front of him again, dead.
"Luffy! LUFFY WAKE UP!" screamed out Sabo
Luffy woke up to his brothers, alive and well with an extremely worried expresion
"Are you okay Luffy? You were screaming in your sleep" said Sabo worried
"I-I'm fine, just a nightmare thats all" said Luffy looking down at his feet
"What kind of nightmare?" asked Ace with a worried expresion
"I-its nothing!" said Luffy
"What do you mean nothing Luffy?! It isn't nothing that makes you scream your lungs out in pain" said Ace strenly
"I'll tell you another day! let's just go back to sleep!" said Luffy
"Fine, but you are telling me your nightmare tomorrow morning! we are your brothers! you need to trust us!" said Ace, Sabo just nodded.
