Ace watched Luffy carefully as he readjusted his hat
The air around them froze
He felt extreme pressure on the whole battlefield
He watched as Luffy walked through the battlefield calmly, a bit too calm
It was as if everything was playing out in slow motion
Luffy slowly lifted his head and glared
One by one, both marines and pirates fell down unconscious
Ace had seen this kind of power before
Shanks and Pops had this power as well
Conqueror's Haki
Of all people to have this power, he had 100% not expected his younger brother to possess it
Eventually, the pressure in the air disappeared
Ace heard many shouts of anger
He was starting to get dizzy from the torture he had endured during his imprisonment
He watched as many marines jumped into action to attack his little brother again

It seemed as if the war had been going on forever
Luffy fought off another hoard of marines that were trying to harm him in any way
He was extremely alert
Even though he knew he could take on anyone and anything
He was still on his feet
Why?
Because Admiral Akainu had suddenly disappeared
He couldn't sense the admiral with his Observation Haki
He wasn't anywhere on the battlefield from what Luffy could see
Whitebeard seemed like the only other person who had noticed the sudden disappearance of the admiral
It was then when he felt it
Heat
A hot wave overcame the entire field
It was excruciating
Then Luffy saw it
A silhouette attacking him in the near future
He barely jumped away from the magma fist
It grazed over his right arm
He held in a hiss of pain
Sure, the ice that had stabbed through him hurt a lot
But magma was way worse
It might be because of his traumatic experiences from the last timeline, but he's unsure
Luffy managed to land without tumbling down
The skin on his right arm was completely burned off
You could see part of the bone and the skin that was still attached to Luffy's right arm was burned
"Oh come on, I just healed my left arm, now the right one?" Luffy whined
Luffy kicked Akainu away when the admiral tried to attack him once again
"SHUT IT, STRAW HAT LUFFY!" Akainu spat out
"YOU DESERVE TO DIE!" Akainu growled
"YOU ARE THE SON OF A DEVIL AS WELL!" Akainu screamed out
Ace twitched
Garp looked away
Sengoku stared blankly
Everyone else was confused
"YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! THE BLOOD FLOWING IN YOU!" Akainu continued
"YOU!... ARE THE SON OF THE WORLD'S MOST WANTED MAN..."
"YOU ARE THE SON OF THE REVOLUTIONARY...DRAGON!"
A collective gasp was heard
Luffy tilted his head
"Okay? ...and?" Luffy stuck his pinky into his nose
Marined looked at Luffy with their mouth's dropped on the floor
Luffy just shrugged when he received no answer from the magma man
Luffy's head suddenly snapped up when he felt a few presences getting nearer
He grinned like a mad man
Luffy didn't bother to stay still any longer
He began sprinting towards Ace again
Akainu was not having it this time
Luffy heard the admiral yell out something
He didn't really bother to pay attention to the admiral
That was until something caught his attention once again
Something was coming
Something big was falling from the sky
He wasn't sure what
Whatever it was, it was enormous
As Luffy turned looked up his eyes widened slightly
One person came to mind to produce that kind of attack
But it doesn't make sense
He shouldn't have been here yet
