It was as if time froze
Luffy's eyes solely focused on those two pairs of swords that were approaching his brother's neck in slow motion
Flashbacks immediately began as the images flashed through his mind
The cursed sword in his hand had been dropped
Luffy didn't even need to think
His body started moving on its own
Blood rushed through his veins
Eyes became bloodshot and shined a ruby color
The tip of his hairs started becoming white
He could feel something inside his back tearing him apart slowly
He took a step forward
As soon as his foot collided with the floor, a large number of powerful marines and pirates fell to their knees, the weak just fell into unconsiousness
Whitebeard turned around to stare at the straw-hatted teen in surprise
He wasn't anywhere near the straw hat pirate, yet even he could feel the pressure that was in the air
The only thing keeping him on his feet was his Haki
The men beside Ace fell down, dropping their swords
Ace looked into Luffy's, now ruby-colored, eyes
Luffy stared back at his brother
"Awakening..." Luffy started
"AKUMA"
Luffy's voice resounded throughout the island and beyond
Everyone stared wide-eyed as two pair of wings arose from the teen's back
The feathers were completely pitch black
The tips of the wings were covered in very small glass shards
Luffy's fingertips became black
There were no claws, but he was now holding a pair of daggers made out of black metal or obsidian
There was silence
No one dared to speak nor make even the smallest noise
Most were afraid
It felt as if the Devil himself was in their presence right at that moment
Luffy moved again
He began walking
Then running
And eventually sprinting towards his older brother
Akainu finally snapped out of his shocked state and began chasing after him
Luffy tilted his head back as he continued running
Akainu launched an attack
Luffy flipped over and flew up, avoiding the attack
The magma proceeded to kill both marines and some pirates that were there
Luffy tched in annoyance and flew down to the admiral
