"Hey grandpa, where are we going?" asked Luffy
"Your new home, you're going to live with mountain bandits from now on" replied Garp
"What?! but I don't like mountain bandits!" said Luffy
"Well from now one you are going to live with them, I have to train you to be a strong marine!" said Garp
"I already told you I don't want to be a marine! I want to be a pirate!" said Luffy
"That red haired pirate has really affected you badly! You will become a marine!" screamed Garp punching Luffy with his"Fist of Love"
Luffy moved to the side dodging it "Don't talk bad about Shanks!" said Luffy with an angry tone, Garp suprised that he dodged his punch.

(Imagine the whole Garp and Dadan anime conversation here, Yes I can't be bothered to write the whole conversation and if you don't know the conversation it's basically Garp telling Dadan that Luffy will also be staying here)
Luffy gets hit in the face with spit, except he doesn't.
Luffy dodges the spit out of pure instinct and notices Ace in the corner of his eye. He imidietly feels a wave of emotions, both sad and happy.
He was happy to see his brother again after 4 years but sad at the same time, he had forgotten how miserable and empty Ace looked before they met.

The Next Day
"Hey!" Luffy said happily to Ace "My name is Luffy! Let's be friends!" Ace ignored him and walked into the forest.
Luffy went after him with bandits behind screaming at him to do his chores.
He chased after Ace and Ace just ran faster trying to loose him.
Luffy soon lost Ace in the forest and went looking for him (Why didn't he just use Haki? cuz I don't want him to yet)
Each day went by the same Luffy looking for Ace in the forest and not finding him.
One day Luffy came across the Bear King and Lion fighting (is that what it was called?) he just kept walking calmly until both animals noticed the little boy and started attacking him.
At least they tried attacking him when Luffy let out a small wave of Haki scaring both animals.
They ran away and Luffy just continued walking. Ace was in a tree, confused and shoked at whatever the little boy just did to scare the kings of this forest away 'Just who the hell is this brat?' Ace thought before jumping down and going to meet up with a certain top hatted boy.
Soon after meeting up with Sabo, Luffy found them
"Hey!! I heard you guys wanted to become pirates! Let's be friends!" screamed Luffy
"Is that the Luffy you've been talking about Ace?" Sabo turned to Ace curious
"Oh, have you been talking about me Ace?" said Luffy
"Shut up idiot, we don't want to become your friend" replied Ace in a cold tone but before Ace knew, Sabo jumped down from the tree they were standing on and approached Luffy
"What's your name?" Sabo asked
"I'm Monkey D. Luffy!" replied Luffy happily
"I'm Sabo nice to meet you!" said Sabo "So, I heard about some sort of ability you have to scare of the bear king?" Sabo getting curious after hearing from Ace on how a little boy like Luffy scared off the beasts of this forest
"Oh that? that's just Haki!" replied Luffy
"Haki? What's that?" asked Sabo now even more curious
"Hmmmm, It's hard to explain but it's basically using my will power!" said Luffy
Before Sabo could ask more Ace jumped down from the tree
"It doesn't matter what it is! let's just go Sabo! leave this crybaby behind" said Ace giving Luffy a cold look
"HEY! I'M NOT A CRYBABY" screamed out Luffy which Ace just ignored
"Eh?! but I want to know more about his Haki thing!" said Sabo still curious about this will power thing
"I don't care we are going!" said Ace strenly
"Can I come with?" asked Luffy excitetly
"Yeah! Ace let's bring Luffy with us!" said Sabo
"No! why do you want to bring that weak baby with us?!" said Ace a little pissed
"I'm not weak! I'm very strong!" said Luffy confidently
"Yeah right!" said Ace still a little angry
"I am!" Luffy pouted
"C'mon Ace! let's just bring Luffy with us! besides he's your friend isn't he?" said Sabo
"What?! No! since when was I friends with that crybaby!" stated Ace
Ace suddenly realised that Sabo was no longer there and instead already making his way to the grey terminal with Luffy
Ace just sighed angrily and went after them

"Woah! this place is huge!" said Luffy looking at the outskirts of Goa kingdom also know as The Grey Terminal
"Yep! Ace and I usually find or rob treasure from hereand put it in our stash!" said Sabo
"Cool!" said Luffy excitetly
"Sabo! don't tell him that!" said Ace, Sabo just ignores him
"Oh frick! It's bluejam!" said Sabo while spotting the Bluejam pirates in the distance
Some notice and start to coming towards the three
