[34 - Scavenger Hunt]

Arriving at the Medical Room a bit light-headed, [Name] noticed a familiar high-schooler in the room as well.

"Sara...?"

The mentioned girl turned, her eyes widening at their current state. "[Name], are you alright? You look really tired..."

"I'm fine." They waved her off, focusing on the Attraction. "This is the last one I need to do. I'm guessing it's the same for you?"

"Y-Yeah...apparently it's a scavenger hunt." She replied. "I think the things we need to find are different for every pair, though..."

"Okay then, sounds easy enough." [Name] stood up, taking a deep breath. "Let's finish this quickly."

"Stay safe..." Safalin mumbled as they entered the Attraction.

The two walked down the dark corridor, ending up in a room with several pathways leading away, farther into the darkness. Grabbing another piece of paper from the table, [Name] started to read the instructions out loud.

Scavenger Hunt

Find the three listed items in the room to clear the attraction. Obtain all three before the time limit runs out.

1. The rose of a painting's demise

2. The mask in a certain nonary game

3. The scarf of a liar

The only exception: the first person who entered the room cannot give any hints if they know the answer. The second person must tell the first what to grab, if they choose.

"Crap, I was the first in the room. Guess I might know the answers." They sighed. "Sorry, Sara."

"It's alright, don't worry. I'm sure I can help figure it out quickly. However, Sou's not here, so we can't get his scarf." Sara joked, making [Name] let an amused smile grow on their tired face.

"Yeah, unfortunately. Well, what should we do?"

Looking at the paths, there were three ways they could go. Each led to a differently designed door, none of them looking remotely similar.

"We could split up to make this faster..." They trailed off as the high-schooler started to frown. "...or maybe not. It's probably safer if we stick together."

"I agree. Let's find the items quickly, then." Sara took [Name]'s hand tightly and dragged them to the first door.

The second they entered the room, a loud gong echoed throughout the area, probably starting the timer.

"We don't know how much time we have, so let's hurry." [Name] nodded and observed their surroundings.

The first room resembled some sort of art gallery, paintings covering the walls from top to bottom. Some had text underneath, describing the artworks.

"Hey, there's roses here...but they're all different colors." The girl sighed. "This is probably another puzzle, then."

[Name] groaned. "We have to do a puzzle for all of the rooms? Geez, they're kind of making it harder for us to win this."
